Senso antiorario – Km 31 – Dislivello 800m – Altezza min.140m / max.463m
Cividale del Friuli sorge ai piedi dei colli del Friuli orientale, sulle sponde del Natisone, a 17 km da Udine, sulla strada che collega la pianura friulana alla media e alta valle dell'Isonzo in territorio sloveno.
Da qui prende il via il giro il cui percorso bello e vario è caratterizzato dalle salite al monte dei Bovi e al monte Purgessimo e dalle divertenti discese sui sentieri circostanti. Belli anche gli scorci paesaggistici che si susseguono sulla fascia alpina, prealpina, sulle valli, e su Castelmonte.
Le salite (a parte qualche strappo), non sono mai troppo dure, bisogna però essere provvisti di una buona capacità tecnica , per affrontare i sentieri in discesa dal monte Purgessimo al paese stesso.

Cividale del Friuli is located at the foot of the hills of eastern Friuli, on the banks of Natisone, 17 km from Udine, on the road linking the Friuli plain average and high Soca Valley in Slovenia.
From here the tour kicks off in the beautiful and varied path is characterized by the ascent of the mountains and the mountain of Bovi Purgessimo and fun descents on the trails surrounding . Belli also landscapes which take place on the wing Alpine, Alpine foothills, valleys, and on Castelmonte.
Climbs (except for some tearing), they are never too hard, but we must be provided with good technical skills, for tackle the trails down from the mountain Purgessimo the country itself.
