Capriolo, trovandosi a metà strada fra Palazzolo e Paratico, è il giusto luogo di partenza per questo giro che ha come protagonista il fiume Oglio. L'Oglio, che si forma dal vicino lago d'Iseo e separa col suo corso la provincia bresciana da quella bergamasca, al pari dell'Adda tende a formare nel suo primo tratto un bellissimo canyon. Inoltre, come l'Adda, anche l'Oglio risulta ricco di monumenti alla sua utilizzazione: come forza motrice diretta, come sorgente d'irrigazione o come fonte di energia elettrica. La seriola Fusia è un esempio delle opere ingenti costruite sull'Oglio a fini sia industriali, sia irrigui. In teoria, è proprio lungo la Fusia (sempre leggermente sopraelevata rispetto al fiume) che noi potremmo andare in bici da Paratico a Palazzolo.
Il sentiero a ridosso del canale è stretto e in alcuni tratti pericoloso e in prossimità di Paratico la sua percorrenza è interrotta da un cancello facilmente superabile.
Da Capriolo, imboccando via Urini, ci si dirige verso il fiume. All'agglomerato di case appena prima di scendere nel canyon si prende a sinistra seguendo via delle Case e poi via S. Stefano.
Si continua poi in un lungo tratto rettilineo che porta al sottopasso autostradale, da dove si procede seguendo via Stelvio praticamente fino alle porte di Palazzolo. Un ultimo breve tratto lungo la Fusia e si è in via delle Calci a Palazzolo. Per il ritorno si può fare la stessa strada, oppure prendendo il sentiero sulla seriola proprio sotto il grande ponte con cui la A4 attraversa il canyon dell'Oglio. Se si sceglie il sentiero sulla seriola si può benissimo far a meno di ripassare per Capriolo: si sbuca direttamente al cotonificio sul fiume, già oltre il paese. Da questo punto in poi è possibile deviare dalla traccia e seguire la prosecuzione di via Niggeler. Si passa presto, riattraversati i binari, a lato del depuratore comunale di Paratico. Da qui, la stradina strettissima diventa asfaltata, si alza e, con vari allegri saliscendi, ci fa arrivare in Paratico.
Da Paratico raggiungere Sarnico è un attimo, magari solo per veder nascere il fiume lungo il quale siamo arrivati.
Prima di lasciare Paratico si può far visita ai ruderi dell'antico castello.
Per raggiungere Capriolo basterà a questo punto evitare la statale seguendo sulla sinistra per qualche Km l'antica via a ridosso del monte.

Roe, lying midway between Palazzolo and Paratico is the right starting point for this tour that features the River Oglio. The Oglio, which is formed from the nearby Lake Iseo and separates with her over the province of Brescia, Bergamo from that, like the Adda tends to form in his first stretch of a beautiful canyon. Moreover, as the Adda, Oglio is also rich in monuments to its use: as a direct driving force, as the source of irrigation or as a source of electrical energy. The seriola Fusia is an example of the works constructed on the Oglio significant for both industrial, and irrigation. In theory, it is just down the Fusia (ever so slightly elevated above the river) that we could go in bike Paratico Palazzolo.
The trail behind the channel is narrow and dangerous, and in some places in the vicinity of its Paratico journey is interrupted by a gate easily overcome.
Since Roe, taking away Urinate, we head towards the river. Agglomeration of houses just before descending into the canyon you turn left and follow the road houses and then via St. Stephen.
It then continues in a long straight section that leads to the highway underpass, where we proceed along Via Stelvio almost to the gates of Palazzolo. A final short stretch along the Fusia and is in the process of Calci Palazzolo. For the return you can do the same way, or take the path on the seriola right below the big bridge by which the A4 crosses the canyon Oglio. If you choose the path on seriola you may very well fail to go over to Roe: you will come directly to the cotton mill on the river, already over the country. From this point onwards it is possible to deviate from the track and follow the continuation of Via Niggeler. You will pass soon, riattraversati the tracks at the side of the municipal sewage treatment plant Paratico. From here, the road becomes narrow tarmac, stood up and, with various ups and downs happy, it makes us get in Paratico.
From Paratico reach Sarnico is a moment, maybe just to see the birth of the river along which we arrived.
Before leaving Paratico you can visit the ruins of the castle.
To achieve Roe just at this point to avoid the main road for a few Km on the left following the old road behind the mountain.
