La cascata di Guardavalle, formata da un ramo del torrente Assi, si trova nella parte montana del comune in prossimità dei primi insediamenti di Pietra Cupa che hanno dato vita all'attuale centro abitato.
Non lontano, infatti, dalla cascata si possono visitare i vecchi ruderi del borgo.

Durante il percorso c'è un solo punto per l'approvvigionamento idrico precisamente al Km 10.3; è comunque bene partire con una buona riserva specie nei periodi caldi.
Consigli
Vista la particolarità della cascata che offre la possibilità di fare un bel bagno rinfrescante è consigliabile portarti un cambio di indumenti. Il posto si presta molto bene per uno spuntino fugace quindi potrebbe essere interessante portare con sè un po di cibo per un ristoro. Guardavalle Centro
