Il percorso parte dal parcheggio della pizzeria di S.Valentino di Avio a 1300 mslm, prima su strada asfaltata e successivamente ghiaiata, si pedala per un dislivello di 380 in salita passando per le Colme di Provecchio, il Corno della Paura, Colme di Vignola e proseguendo si arriva fino ai ruderi delle Caserme. Ritornando sulla strada percorsa dopo 500 mt si svolta a Sx. per il sentiero 687 segnavia bianco rosso. Con traccia a volte difficilmente riconoscibile si arriva alle Pendici Sud del Monte Vignola per poi sbucare sul sentiero 686 appena a monte del Castello di Avio. Il sentiero è ancora molto sporco con sassi e tronchi smossi, passaggi trialistici, tornantini strettissimi e passaggi panoramici a strapiombo ma mai particolarmente pericolosi. A detta del gruppo il percorso è ritenuto impegnativo e sicuramente sconsigliato ai novizi.

Traccia di sola discesa, la salita è su asfaltata da Avio al gran parcheggio di San Valentino. Parcheggiare presso il cimitero di Avio se si vuole pedalare la salita, altrimenti a San Valentino se si usano 2 macchine.

The path from the parking lot of the pizzeria's Valentine's Avio to 1300 m, first on a gravel road and then, you ride for a vertical drop of 380 uphill passing by the Colme of Provecchio, the Horn of Fear, Colme of Vignola and continuing to get to the ruins of the barracks. Back on the road traveled after 500 meters, turn Left. the trail 687 red and white trail. With track sometimes difficult to recognize you arrive at the South Slopes of Mount Vignola and then come out on the trail 686 just upstream of the Castle of Avio. The trail is still very dirty with stones and logs shaken, steps trialistici, hairpins and narrow passages scenic cliffs but never particularly dangerous. According to the group the course is considered challenging and definitely not recommended for novices.
Track only descent, the climb is on paved by Avio to the large parking lot of St. Valentine. Park at the cemetery Avio if you want to ride the climb, or on Valentine's Day if you use 2 machines.
