Trail Description


Da Polaris fino alla vetta di Mont' E Sali attraverso una importante salita di 15km ricca di tornanti e passaggi suggestivi e non rari incontri faunistici.

Parcheggiata la macchina nello sterrato appena all'ingresso del percorso che porta al Nuraghe Sangallu, si sale in sella.
Ci si addentra nelle strade del centro ricerche Polaris.
Si raggiunge, prima la stazione della Forestale poi gli edifici Polaris n°5 e n°3 in mezzo ai quali troviamo il sentiero che ci porterà fino alla vetta al monte.
Un volta scollinato, possiamo percorrere a scelta uno dei due sentieri che troviamo sulla destra, un primo più lungo, e uno successivo più corto. Entrambi portano fino ad una struttura della forestale da dove lasciate le bici si può raggiungere a soli 200metri a piedi il famigerato osservatorio della forestale con una spettacolare vista sulla costa e sui monti.
Dopo una sosta ristoratrice, si rientra ripercorrendo il sentiero fino a riprendere la mulattiera principale e la si continua fino al cancello che a ci apre la strada verso una strepitosa discesa e quindi verso il ritorno.
