Itinerario non particolarmente impegnativo che va alla scoperta della bella e isolata val di Mazia. Si sale lungo la strada fino al paese di Mazia e poi quasi fino alla fine della strada contornati da magnifici panorami. Si scende sul sentiero 1 fino a Glieshof (ristoro) e poi ancora sulla strada fino al maso Rastifhof. Salendo pochi metri a destra, si segue la vecchia traccia del sentiero d'acqua (Waalweg) non segnato e scomparso in alcuni punti. Se invece non avete tanto tempo, continuate a scendere sulla strada dell'andata. Al paese di Mazia si scende ancora un tratto su strada e poi si devia sul sentiero 18, a tratti impegnativo, e poi a sx sul 17 fino quasi al parcheggio Statale dello stelvio, prima del paese di Tarces in val Venosta parcheggio davanti al cimitero
