Questo percorso è caratterizzato da una salita molto lunga (20km circa) fortunatamente relativamente facili.
Porta con te una buona riserva d'acqua soprattutto se intendi percorrerlo in una giornata molto calda.
Durante il percorso si trovano solamente due rifugi dove è possibile ristorarsi.
Partenza dal parcheggio (gratuito) all'inizio della Val Campo di Dentro.
Prosegui poi per la ciclabile sterrata in leggera discesa verso S.Candido da dove prenderai poi la direzione verso Dobbiaco sulla ciclabile (Dobbiaco-Lienz).
Attraversa la statale della Pusteria per dirigerti verso il centro di Dobbiaco e da qui inizia a salire verso San Silvestro e il rifugio Lachweisenhutte.
Inizia qui la vera salita su strada asfaltata fino al Lachweisenhutte e da li in poi su strada sterrata carrozzabile fino al piazzale Bodeneck.
La pendenza rimarrà pressochè costante fino al Markinckele.
Circa 4 km dopo il rifugio Lachweisenhutte raggiungerai con un breve tratto di facile discesa il piazzale Bodeneck.
Da li prosegui in salita verso San Silvestro e quindi continua sempre in salita verso il Markinckele.
Tieni presente che dopo San Silvestro lo sterrato diventa leggermente più impegnativo soprattutto a causa del fondo irregolare.
Il panorama che si apre una volta raggiunto il Markinkele e molto bello.
Si potranno notare i ghiacciai austriaci da una parte e le vette dolomitiche (Tre Cime comprese) dall'altra.
Puntando verso alcune costruzioni di confine, prima di raggiungerle scendi a sinistra verso un laghetto.
Inizia finalmente la discesa, un single track mai troppo tecnico ma che comunque necessita di qualche abilità di guida.
Continua seguendo il corso del ruscello Blankenbach con alcuni tornanti stretti che richiedono la necessaria attenzione e affrontando poi un paio di guadi.
Scendendo di quota il single track si trasforma in un sentiero diventano poi una sterata carrozzabile nei pressi della malga Steinberg.
Da li con una veloce discesa su sterrata ampia raggiungi la malga San Silvestro per poi tornare nuovamente al piazzale Bodeneck.
Ora devi tenere la sinistra salendo leggermente e seguendo sempre il sentiero n°3 o meglio le indicazioni per San Candido.
Dopo il tratto in lieve salita inizierà un breve single track molto piacevole (peccato che quando l'ho percorso io era sbarrato in più punti da alberi caduti .... o tagliati appositamente?).
Con alcuni tratti di sterrata molto ripidi scendi velocemente a San Candido per poi raggiungere il punto di partenza ripercorrendo in direzione Sesto-Passo Montecroce Comelico la stessa ciclabile che avevi percorso all'andata.
This path is characterized by a very long climb (about 20km) fortunately relatively easy.
Bring a good supply of water especially if you intend to follow it in a very hot day.
Along the way there are only two shelters where you can eat.
out from the car park (free of charge) at the beginning of the Innerfeldtal.
Then continue to the dirt path slightly downhill towards S.Candido then from where you take the direction towards Dobbiaco on the bike path ( Dobbiaco-Lienz).
crosses the state of the Pusteria to head to the center of Dobbiaco and from here starts to climb towards San Silvestro and shelter Lachweisenhutte.
Start here real climb on paved road to the Lachweisenhutte and then on paved road on a dirt road to the parking Bodeneck.
The slope remains almost constant up to Markinckele.
About 4 km after the retreat Lachweisenhutte reach with a short section of the square Bodeneck easy descent.
From them continue uphill towards San Silvestro and then continues uphill towards the Markinckele.
Keep in mind that after New Year's Eve the dirt road becomes slightly more challenging mainly because of the irregular bottom.
The panorama that opens once you reach the Markinkele and very nice.
You will notice the Austrian glaciers on one side and the mountain peaks (including the Three Peaks) on the other.
Pointing to some constructions of the border, before reach down to the left towards a pond .
finally began the descent, a single track never too technical but still needs some driving skills.
Continue following the course of the stream Blankenbach with some tight switchbacks that require the necessary attention and then facing a couple of fords.
down to share the single track turns into a path then become a sterata carriage near the hut Steinberg.
From there with a fast descent on a wide dirt road you reach the hut San Silvestro then back again to the square Bodeneck.
Now you have to keep to the left and slightly uphill, always following the path n ° 3 or better directions to San Candido.
After the stretch slightly uphill start a short single track very nice (too bad that when the ' I have traveled I was blocked in several places by fallen trees .... or specially cut?). Keychain some sections of very steep dirt road down quickly in San Candido and then to the starting point in tracing the direction of Sesto-Step Montecroce comelico the same path that had the outward journey.
