Da Montorio al Vomano si sale su bitume a Piano Roseto dove, in corrispondenza dell’incrocio per Crognaleto, tagliamo a sx la grande distesa erbosa per percorrere il sentiero che porta alla suggestiva chiesa della Madonna delle Tibia facendo attenzione ad alcuni punti leggermente esposti. Scesi in direzione del Piano di Crognaleto, più precisamente in prossimità dei ruderi del Casale Noè, prendiamo a sx un vecchia mulattiera che procedendo a mezza costa, tra frane, saliscendi e con frequenti tratti impedalabili conduce al Piano Aielli. Ci lasciamo il pianoro sulla dx e imbocchiamo un’altra mulattiera, stavolta ben più marcata, che scende fin sopra l’abitato di Figliola. Ripresa la strada asfaltata, la si percorre sino a qualche centinaio di metri dopo San Giorgio dove a dx un’evidente sterrata annuncia l’inizio dell’ormai noto trail per Santa Croce ed a seguire per il lungofiume del Vomano che termina a Montorio.

from Montorio al Vomano climb on bitumen Piano Roseto, where, at the intersection of Croghan, cut left the large expanse of grass to walk the path that leads to the impressive church of Our Lady of Tibia paying attention to some points slightly exposed. I went down in the direction of the Plan of Croghan, more precisely near the ruins of the farmhouse Noah, we left an old mule that proceeding halfway between landslides, with frequent ups and downs and no cycle traits leads to the Plan Aiello. We leave the plateau on the right and we take another trail, this time much more pronounced, which falls just above the village of Figliola. Back on the road, follow it up to a few hundred meters after San Giorgio where clearly marked dirt road on the right announces the start of the now well-known trail to Santa Croce and follow the riverside Vomano ending in Montorio. < br>
