Itienrario duro ma molto panoramico, ideale per biker che amano salite lunghe e impegnative, ma anche sentieri in discesa tecnici, il tutto immersi nei fantastici panorami delle dolomiti di Lienz. Si costeggia il bel lago di Tristach e si sale verso la Dolomitenhütte, prima su forestale e poi su asfalto. Meglio partire di mattina piuttosto presto, perchè fino alla Dolomitenhütte (parcheggio con ristoro), salgono molte auto. Da qui in avanti una bella forestale sale, con tratti anche molto ripidi, fino alla Karlsbaderhütte, in mezzo a stupendi panorami. Adesso i meno esperti potranno scendere per la stessa strada, mentre che ha una bici con abbondanti escursioni potrà scendere lungo il tecnico sentiero che taglia i tornanti. Dalla Dolomitenhütte si scende sul sentiero 12 in mezzo ai prati e poi si ritorna sulla forestale salita all'andata fino al punto di partenza. Chi ha intenzione di scendere ancora un pò si sentiero, deve individuare il sentiero in mezzo al bosco un sentiero (meglio guardare già in salita con calma) che scende a sx (non c'è sulle carte) e taglia verso il lago Tristach presso Lienz, parcheggio prima dell'Hotel Tristacher See.
