Bologna - Firenze 2a tappa
Alpe di Monghidoro - San Piero a Sieve

Si sale verso l'Alpe di Monghidoro su sterrato, fino ad una curva dove il sentiero piega a sinistra ed inizia a scendere decisamente attraverso il bosco verso il passo della Raticosa (bar-ristorante), si prosegue imboccando il sentiero alla sinistra del bar e poi scendendo a destra verso Pietramala (bar - alimentari). Poco prima del distributore si gira a sinistra imboccando una stradina secondaria che porta la paesino di Valli, dove la strada torna sterrata e in decisa discesa verso la valle del Santerno e l'abitato di Firenzuola (bar - ristoranti - alimentari).
Il percorso integrale prevede di prendere per la Futa e poi di girare per Sigliola, dove il sentiero inizia a salire ripidamente, costringendo ad un lungo tratto dalla difficile ciclabilità, sia per la pendenza che per il fondo irregolare e sporco del bosco: occorre mettere in preventivo un paio d'ore per giungere al passo dell'Osteria Bruiciata. Esiste però una variante completamente ciclabile: si continua fino a Cornacchiaia e si prende per Faeto - Roncopiano ed infine Balzo dei Fiori, dove si ritrovano i segnali e la traccia GPS.
Al Passo inizia la lunga discesa verso il Mugello, dapprima con alcuni saliscendi, poi con un'entusiasmante mulattiera che termina nei pressi dell' abitato di Sant'Agata. Si scende verso il Gabbiano e si prosegue fino a sboccare sulla circonvallazione di S.Piero, che va imboccata a destra verso il camping Mugello Vede, dotato di bungalow oltre che di bar e ristorante.

Climb to Alpe di Monghidoro on dirt, up to a corner where the path turns left and begins to fall significantly through the woods to the pace of Raticosa (bar-restaurant), continue taking the path to the left of the bar and then down to the right to Pietramala (bar - food). Shortly before the gas is turned left onto a side street that leads to the village of Valli, where the road becomes a dirt road and decided to descend to the valley and the village of Santerno Firenzuola (bar - restaurants - food).
The path integral plan to take to the Futa and then turn to Sigliola, where the trail begins to climb steeply, forcing a long stretch from cycling difficult, both for the slope to the bottom uneven and dirt of the forest: it should be put in quote a couple of hours to reach the step dell'Osteria Bruiciata. But there is a completely variant path: it continues to Cornacchiaia and takes to Faeto - Roncopiano and finally Dodge dei Fiori, where they found the signals and the GPS track.
Al Passo begins the long descent to the Mugello , with some ups and downs at first, then with an exciting trail that ends near the 'village of Sant'Agata. It goes down to the Seagull and continue until it emerges on the ring S.Piero, which goes right to the camping embarked Mugello see, with bungalows as well as a bar and restaurant.
