Itinerario molto impegnativo, solo per biker ben allenati a lunghe e impegnative salite e in possesso di ottima tecnica di discesa e bici adeguate. per arrivare alla forcella S. Osvaldo da merano bisogna superare più di 2000 metri di dislivello con tratti finali molto ripidi. Dalla cima bel panorama su tutto l'altipiano di avelengo e le dolomiti. il sentiero scende su terreno smosso verso la Streitweideralm (ristoro), la parte superiore è tecnica ma abbastanza ciclabile, mentre la parte centrale presenta alcuni passaggi da fare a piedi, molto bello comunque l'ambiente selvaggio. Dalla malga si può scendere facilmente a merano lungo la forestale della traccia, oppure prendere il bel sentiero 40 fino a Taser e poi il 18a o il 18 Merano, parcheggio di fronte alla stazione ferroviaria

Very challenging route, only to well-trained biker to long and challenging climbs and possess excellent technical downhill bike and adequate. to get to the fork S. Osvaldo from merano must overcome more than 2000 meters in altitude with very steep final strokes. From the top, nice view on the whole plateau of Hafling and dolomites. loose soil on the trail descends towards the Streitweideralm (refreshments), the upper part is quite technical but path, while the central part has a few steps to walk, very nice, however, the wild environment. From here there is easily drop to merano along the forest track, or take a nice trail up to 40 Taser and then the 18th or the 18th Merano, parking in front of the railway station
