Itinerario molto impegnativo ma altamente panoramico che segue tutta l'alta via della val d'ultimo dagli impianti sciistici al lago di Fontana Bianca. Dal paese di S. Nicolò si sale prima su afalto poi sterrata ripida fino alla Aussere Schwemmalm. Da qui si segue l'alta via, sentiero 12, con vari saliscendi ma sempre abbastanza pedalabile. Il panorama è favoloso con vista su tutta la val d'ultimo. Arrivati alla Flatschbergtal, se non si vuole spingere la bici in salita, prendere a sx il 143 che scende a valle, poi ricollegarsi al sentiero dei masi e tornare a S. Nicolò. Se non avete paura di qualche tratto a spinta, anche lungo, allora continuate a seguire la traccia in saliscendi fino al lago di Fontana bianca (ristoro) e poi scendete a valle per l'impegnativo ma divertente 107. Con il bel sentiero dei masi si torna a S. Nicolò. Itinerario per biker esperti. Superstrada bolzano merano uscita Lana, seguire la strada provinciale della val d'Ultimo fino a S. Nicolò, parcheggio in centro al paese
Very challenging but very scenic route that follows all the high street of Val d'latest from the ski slopes of Lake Fontana Bianca. From the village of St. Nicholas before you climb on afalto then steep dirt road up to the Aussere Schwemmalm. From here follow the high road, route 12, with various ups and downs but always enough to cycle. The scenery is stunning with views over the Val d'last. Arriving at Flatschbergtal, if you do not want to push the bike uphill, turn left on 143 going down to the valley, then reconnect to the path of the farms and return to St. Nicholas. If you are not afraid of some stretch to push, too long, then continue to follow the track up and down to Lake Fontana white (rest) and then go down to the valley to the challenging but fun 107. the beautiful path of farms is back to St. Nicholas.
