Itinerario molto panoramico lungo sentieri e mulattiere di alta quota. E' un percorso cicloalpinistico perchè bisogna portare la bici in spalla per una buona mezz'ora, inoltre i sentieri in discesa sono piuttosto impegnativi e presuppongono un'ottima tecnica in bici. Si sale lungo la bella val montechiesa, prima senza troppe difficoltà poi molto duramente con ultimo tratto a spinta fino al passo di rabbi. Qui si gira a dx su divertente prato con grandi massi e un lago fino a ricollegarsi al sentiero 12 verso dx. Qualche tratto pedalato e poi bici a spinta fino ai 2789 m del giogo di montechiesa. Panorama spettacolare. Discesa su sentiero ciclabile, poi a dx sul 107 in saliscendi fino ad una capanna. Qui a dx sul 104 in salita a spinta fino alla sella poi bel sentiero impegnativo in discesa fino alla Fiechtalm (unico posto di ristoro). Da qui seguire il 107 prima su prato e su bosco ripido fino a s. Geltrude e al parcheggio. Si consiglia una giornata tersa per godere del fantastico panorama e da luglio in poi quando la neve in quota è sciolta Autostrada bolzano merano uscita lana, prendere la val d'Ultimo fino a S. Geltrude park sotto al paese lungo la strada.

Very scenic route along footpaths and bridleways high altitude. It 'a path cicloalpinistico because you have to carry your bike on your shoulder for a good half hour, also the paths down are quite challenging and require great technique on a bike. Climb along the beautiful val Montechiesa before without too much difficulty then very hard with last stretch to push up the pitch rabbi. Here you turn right onto the lawn fun with big boulders and a lake to rejoin the path 12 toward the right. Some stretches and then cycled Pushing up to 2789 meters of the yoke of Montechiesa. Spectacular views. Downhill on bike trail, then right on 107 in latch up to a hut. Here turn right on 104 uphill push to the saddle and then pretty challenging trail downhill to the Fiechtalm (only place of refreshment). From here follow the first 107 of meadow and forest on steep up to s. Gertrude and parking. We recommend a clear day to enjoy the fantastic view and from July onwards when the snow has melted in share Motorway exit Bolzano Merano wool, take the Val d'Ultimo to St. Gertrude park below the village along the way.
