NOTA 1: Da questo percorso se ne può ricavare facilmante uno ridotto, semplicemente tagliando la salita/discesa al Rif. Dal Piaz. Dal wp E q. 1110, anzichè scendere al passo Croce D'aune, si svolta a dx per il wp I.
Ne risulta un giro di Media Difficoltà con 36 Km e 970 m di dislivello.
DESCRIZIONE:
Da Pedavena si percorrono una serie di stradine secondarie alla base del monte Avena,versante sud. Nei wp A1 e B1 si evita un po' di asfalto con inediti passaggi campestri. Anche dopo Arten si può evitare la principale per Fonzaso tenendoci su una parallela più alta e panoramica. Dopo Fonzaso, percorsi 50 m di SR, in vista della galleria (wp C), si devia a sx sulla vecchia strada dismessa.Poco dopo si lascia il fondovalle salendo per un'antica mulattiera con numerosi tornanti fino a ritrovare la strada per Faller a q. 570. Si sale per bella stradina lungo il versante ovest e poi nord del monte Avena con vista sempre più ampia sulle Vette Feltrine (Pavione - Ramezza ...). Si arriva alla dorsale del monte nel wp E q. 1110 dove si potrebbe accorciare il giro (come previsto in NOTA 1). Invece la traccia completa prevede di scendere al Passo Croce D'Aune; qui si trovano punti ristoro e ci si prepara per la dura salita al Rif. Dal Piaz: sono 950 m di dislivello su circa 11 Km ma nonostante la pendenza non eccessiva, sarà il fondo particolarmente sconnesso nella parte più alta a creare difficoltà; in compenso il panorama di cui si gode è veramente impareggiabile. A quota 1970 ci accoglie il Rif.Dal Piaz(aperto in stagione); si può anche proseguire fino al vicino passo delle Vette Grandi(20 m più in alto) oppure, a piedi, alla panoramica Cima di Nord/Ovest a q. 2130 (meno di mezz'ora A + R). Ristorati ed abbigliati per la discesa si torna per la strada dell'andata. Discesa da non sottovalutare anche nei tratti di fondo discreto che inviterebbero a correre: un fuori-strada qui sarebbe fatale! Tornati a Croce D'aune si risale al wp E da cui prosegue il giro attorno al monte Avena.
NOTA 2) Se avete tempo potete optare per una interessante e non troppo faticosa digressione alla piatta cima del monte (Casera Campon a q. 1450)che si raggiunge svoltando a dx dal wp K q.1080.
L'inedito passaggio per il "Troi della Zeccona" ci permette di scollinare presto a q. 1085. Da qui inizia una ripida discesa sterrata su versante sud: stalle Michelin, Le fiere, Venezia Secca ed infine l'asfalto poco prima di Facen.Si tiene in quota sulla panoramica stradina per Altor quindi ci si immette sulla strada principale Pedavena-Croce D'aune. A pedavena si attraversa un ponte per rientrare lungo l'argine sx del T. Colmeda fino al parcheggio della birreria.
Da Treviso, si percorre la SS Feltrina fino alla stazione FFSS di Feltre; qindi si evita il centro tenendo a sx su Viale monte Grappa fino ad una rotatoria; qui si tiene a Dx (ind. Ospedale) e dopo 350 m si svolta a sx per PEDAVENA. Prima del centro paese si trova ampio park di fronte alla storica Birreria.

I. The result is a matter of difficulty with Media 36 Km and 970 m in altitude.
DESCRIPTION:
From Pedavena you ride a series of side streets at the base of Mount Avena, south slope. In wp A1 and B1 prevents a bit 'of asphalt with unpublished passages rural. Even after Arten you can avoid the main Fonzaso for keeping us on a parallel higher and overview. After Fonzaso, after 50 m of SR, in view of the gallery (wp C), veer left on the old road dismessa.Poco after you leave the valley by climbing an old mule with numerous hairpin turns up to find his way to Faller q. You go up to 570 beautiful road along the west side and then north of the mountain with views of Avena growing on Vette Feltrine (Pavione - Ramezza ...). Instead, the complete track plan to descend to Passo Croce D'Aune; Here you will find dining options and prepare for the tough climb to Ref. Back at the Croce d'Aune climb to wp E which continues its way around the mountain Avena.
NOTE 2) If you have time you can opt for an interesting and not too strenuous detour to the flat top of the mountain (Casera Campon to q . 1450) which can be reached by turning right wp K q.1080.
unprecedented step for the "Troi's Zeccona" allows us to go downhill soon to q. 1085 From here begins a steep descent dirt on the south side: Michelin stalls, fairs, Venice Secca and finally the asphalt just before Facen.Si share held in the scenic lane for Altor then you get on the main road Pedavena-Cross On ells. A pedavena cross a bridge to fit along the left bank of the T. Colmeda to the parking lot of the brewery.
From Treviso, take the SS Feltrina to the train station of Feltre; qindi avoids the center bearing left on Viale Monte Grappa to a roundabout; here is held in Dx (ind. hospital) and after 350 m turn left to PEDAVENA. Before the center of town there is a large park across from the historic brewery.
