Bella escursione lungo le cime sovrastanti Pian Piccolo di Castelluccio. Da Forca di Presta (circa 6 km da Castelluccio) si lascia l'asfalto e si sale sul Monte Forciglietta, un “balcone naturale” sui Piani di Castelluccio, il Vettore e la Valle del Tronto. Continuando in cresta si raggiunge, dopo un breve tratto in portage, il Monte Pellicciara (1687 m.), il punto più alto dell'escursione. Alla sella col Monte Macchialta si lascia la linea di cresta e si prende il sentiero che attraversa la bella faggeta di Macchia Cavaliera fino al Colle Cardisciana. Da qui si scende al Laghetto di Pian Piccolo, seguendo tracce di sentiero non sempre evidenti nel rado bosco. Dal Laghetto si ritorna a salire per la carrareccia della Collina Carbonara e prima di entrare nella faggeta si svolta decisamente a destra per il sentiero CAI 209 fino a raggiungere la vetta del Monte Guaidone (1647 m.), posto tra i due Piani maggiori di Castelluccio. In discesa si segue l'istinto, non essendoci sentieri segnati, e con brevi evoluzioni si raggiunge nuovamente Pian Piccolo da dove si ritorna a Castelluccio per le carrarecce che solcano i Piani.
