Descrizione degli waypoint inseriti nel tracciato:
AIGNER BADL-Abfaltersbach : Centro termale contadino risalente al 18° secolo che è stato posto sotto tutela come patrimonio naturale. Nel 1996 la sorgente fu ritenuta dalla regione Tirolo come termale. I bagni vengono proposti in vasche di larice. Un impianto Kneipp presso il vecchio mulino dispone di una vasca di 30 m, una vasca per immersioni e un sentiero nell'acqua da seguire a piedi nudi. Posto di ristoro tipico tirolese.
Castello di Anras (Schloss Anras): Il palazzo del tribunale presso il castello di Anras è un gioiello culturale. Il museo del tribunale con l'esposizione delle pene per i detenuti parte dal 1499. Un tempo residenza estiva e giurisdizione dei vescovi di Bressanone.
Galitzenklamm Wasserschaupfad : cascate panoramiche della gola della Galizia: un gioiello naturale ai piedi delle Dolomiti di Lienz- Un'attrazione particolare è l'unico mulino delle sfere dell'Austria meridionale, che leviga palle di pietra. Punto Ristoro.
Lago Tristach-Lienz : unico lago balneabile del Tirolo Orientale a pochi km da Lienz, immerso tra boschi e prati. Spiaggia con bar, campo beach-volley e grande prato per distendersi. Un vero paradiso silenzioso in cui crescono rare piante fiorite.
SCHLOSS BRUCK-LIENZ : Castello costruito nel XII secolo dai conti di Gorizia, ospita oggi un interessante museo che presenta opere del pittore austriaco Albin Egger-Lienz e mostre storiche e contemporanee sulla storia, l'arte e la natura del Tirolo Orientale. Mostra di pipistrelli nel castello con sentiero tematico presso il laghetto.
ViThal piscina : Piscina delle avventure con acqua a temperatura costante di 25°C. Parco giochi nel bosco, campo basket, pallavolo, calcio, etc. Bar e parco aperti dal 1° maggio a fine ottobre.
Lago Tassenbach : un’oasi naturalistica adiacente alla pista ciclabile.
LOACKER-Heinfels : Fabbrica con annesso spaccio dei prodotti del marchio. Punto ristoro-bar.
Pichler Cioccolato-Sillian : Konditorei, panificio, caffè, pasticceria. Produzione propria stecche cioccolato fatte a mano con deliziosi ingredienti che hanno molto poco in comune con quelle dei supermercati. Attenzione: le cioccolate Pichler possono creare dipendenza!
In partcolare segnalo alcuni dettagli interessanti della località di Abfaltersbach : località caratteristica del Tirolo orientale, con i suoi masi sparsi sulle colline, i prati verdi con un tappeto di fiori e le antiche usanze. Un rilassamento unico nel suo genere vi aspetta da maggio a settembre: la sorgente d’acqua minerale “Aigner Badl”, la quale venne dichiarata fonte naturale dall’università di Innsbruck, rilassa i muscoli e l’articolazione, ed è efficace contro il reumatismo e sciatica. Si dice inoltre che queste acque termali hanno un effetto favorevole per la guarigione di ferite. Il bagno termale antico è aperto già dal 1772 ed ancora oggi vengono offerti dei bagni in botte di legno con coperchio. Nel centro di Abfaltersbach vale la pena di vedere il mulino per smalti dell’antica azienda del costruttore di forni Steger, presso il quale nel 1654 vennero prodotti i forni (restaurato nel 1991).
