Da Savona seguiamo l' aurelia verso ponente e raggiungiamo il paese di Quiliano , qui proseguiamo e seguiamo le indicazioni per Roviasca . Sempre su asfalto iniziamo la salita( Km. 12) . Proseguendo sulla strada principale poco dopo ci lasciamo il paese alle spalle , la strada si addentra nel bosco , diventa una larga sterrata che non prendiamo ma svoltiamo seccamente a sinistra in salita (km. 16) .
La sterrata prosegue fino a raggiungere un gruppo di case , qui appena superate quest'ultime svoltiamo ancora in salita a sinistra dove il fondo peggiora un poco (km18).
La strada prosegue in salita e il fondo peggiora ancora , prendiamo quota alternando brevi strappi a tratti piu' scorrevoli , raggiungiamo un incrocio di diversi sentieri , (km 20 .3) seguiamo sempre la strada piu' larga (segnavia AV) dopo poco a dx superiamo il forte Baraccone.
Rimaniamo sempre sulla strada principale e dopo poco iniziamo a scendere fino a raggiungere la strada sterrata che sale da Altare (km 22.2) svoltiamo a destra e velocemente raggiungiamo le Rocche bianche e il monumento ai Caduti. (km 27)
Qui prendiamo la rampa di fronte al monumento , e andiamo a destra al primo bivio , la strada si inoltra nel bosco senza particolari difficolta' escluso qualche breve tratto di discesa. Trascuriamo le via laterali e arriaviamo ad incrociare l' asfalto in localita' Montagna (km. 32.5).
Arrivati alla rotonda del paese non ci resta che andare in discesa e tornare a Quiliano (km.39) e da qui a Savona (km 48)

From Savona follow the 'aurelia westward and reach the village of Quiliano, here we go and follow the signs for Roviasca. Always begin the climb on asphalt (12 Km). Continuing on the main road just after leaving the village behind, the road enters the woods, becomes a wide dirt road that we do not take but turn sharply left uphill (km 16).
The dirt road continues until it reaches a group of houses here just overcome the latter still climbing turn to the left where the bottom a little worse (km18).
The road goes uphill and the bottom worse still, we share tears, alternating short at times more 'sliding , we reach an intersection of several trails (20 km .3) we always follow the road more 'wide (marked AV) on the right just after we overcome the strong Baraccone.
We are always on the main road and after a while we begin to descend until reach the dirt road that climbs from Altar (22.2 km) turn right and quickly reach the Fortresses white and the war memorial. (27 km)
Here we take the ramp in front of the monument, and turn right at the first intersection, the road into the woods without any particular difficulty 'except a few short descent. We neglect the off side and arriaviamo to cross the 'asphalt in the locality' Mountain (km. 32.5).
At the roundabout of the country we have to go down and come back to Quiliano (km.39) and from there to Savona (48 km)
