Il percorso parte nei pressi di Travo, sulla sponda opposta del Fiume Trebbia rispetto al centro del paese.
Superato Quadrelli, in località Piana si lascia la S.S.45 svoltando a sinistra e si imbocca una strada asfaltata avente notevole pendenza; da qui si inizia a salire. La strada asfaltata prosegue ancora per circa un paio di km dopo di che inizia lo sterrato; la salita prosegue ininterrotta attraversando bei boschi e prati sino ad arrivare al punto di quota più elevata del percorso (775 m.slm circa). Il fondo è marnoso quindi in caso di pioggia, in alcuni tratti, risulta molto fangoso.
Il rientro è pressoché tutto in discesa e per il tratto finale su strada asfaltata a bassissima intensità di traffico.
Si possono godere bei paesaggi sulla Val Trebbia ed attraversare bei boschi percorrendo un tragitto ad anello non eccessivamente impegnativo e tecnicamente avvicinabile da tutti; l’unica vera difficoltà è determinata dal fondo fangoso che a volte impone di scendere dalla bici e trovare by-pass fuori dalla pista.

The route starts near Travo, on the opposite bank of the River Trebbia respect to the center of the country.
After Quartermaine, in Piana leaving the SS45 turn left and take a road paved with significant slope; from here you start to climb. The paved road continues for about a couple of kilometers after which the dirt road begins; The climb continues uninterrupted through beautiful woods and meadows until you reach the point of highest share of the route (about 775 m above sea level). The bottom is marl so in case of rain, in some places, it is very muddy.
The return is almost all downhill and for the final stretch of paved road with very low traffic intensity.
You can enjoy beautiful landscapes on Trebbia and through beautiful woods, following a route loop not too technically challenging and approachable by all; the only real difficulty is determined by the muddy bottom that sometimes requires to get off the bike and find the by-pass off the track.
