Bellissimo itinerario allmountain ad anello che percorre quasi per intero il Vallone dell'Urtier.
Partendo da Cogne, pedalando sulla ciclabile che attraversa il pianoro di Sylvenoire, si raggiunge Lillaz. Da qui inizia la salita che, tramite una strada prima asfaltata e poi sterrata, si inoltra nel vallone.
La strada sale regolare e non presenta mai tratti troppo ripidi, permettendo di superare i circa 1000 metri di dislivello senza troppi affanni...
La nostra salita finisce in vista del rifugio Sogno, dove si stacca sulla destra il sentiero dell' Alta Via n.2. Una volta indossate le protezioni (consigliate) si inizia a scendere su un divertentissimo single track, molto scorrevole nella prima parte. Il sentiero, man mano che si scende, diventa sempre più tecnico, mettendo a dura prova le abilità di guida dei bikers! Il divertimento comunque non manca mai e (per i più bravi...)i tratti a spinta sono brevissimi.
Alternando tratti scorrevoli ad altri molto tecnici, il sentiero ci riporta a Lillaz, dove ripercorrendo la ciclabile si ritorna a Cogne.
Ambiente stupendo e discesa bellissima, imperdibile per gli appassionati di discese su single tracks tecnici!

Beautiful ring-mountain route that runs almost the entire Urtier Valley.
From Cogne, riding on the bike path that crosses the plateau Sylvenoire, you reach Lillaz. From here begins the climb, first through a paved road and then a dirt road, goes into the valley.
The road goes smooth and never has too steep sections, allowing you to exceed the 1000 meters in altitude without too much trouble .. .
Our climb ends in view of the refuge's Dream, where the trail branches off to the right of the 'Alta Via 2. Once you put the protections (recommended) begin to descend on a fun single track, very fluent in the first part. The trail as it descends, it becomes increasingly technical, putting a strain on the driving skills of the bikers! The fun, however, never fails, and (for the most talented ...) to push the traits are very short.
Alternating strokes sliding to other highly technical, the path takes us back to Lillaz, where retracing the path returns to Cogne.
Environment gorgeous and beautiful descent, a must for fans descended on technical single tracks!
