Trail Description



Da Santa Maria di Acquasanta si segue in discesa la strada por Ponte d'Arli. In località S.Emidio svoltiamo a sx in direzione Agore. Superati i bivi per Forcella e Vallefusella svoltiamo a dx e percorriamo la salita per la frazione di Rocchetta. Dopo un tratto in saliscendi che accarezza il crinale montuoso che si affaccia sul Fosso di Acquaviva giungiamo a Rocchetta e proseguiamo per Agore. Da quest'ultimo abitato prendiamo il bellissimo single trak n.402 che secnde a Poggio Rocchetta. Imboccata la strada per Tallacano, in corrispondenza di una sbarra di ferro ubicata sulla dx saliamo per una sterrata che porta alla chiesa di San Pietro. Dopo una breve visita al Sasso Spaccato, torniamo di qualche metro indietro e svoltiamo a dx inerpicandoci per un breve ma durissimo sentiero che sale ripido sul Monte Vicito. Raggiunta la sommità del monte con bici a spalla, giriamo a dx seguendo il sentiero 416-417 fino ad affacciarci sul panoramico Pizzo dell'Arco. La combinazione sentieristica 417-402-414 è quella da noi scelta per il ritorno al punto di partenza, un trail di rara bellezza che striscia nell'Appennino Perduto regalando grandi emozioni e divertimento.

From Santa Maria Acquasanta you follow the road downhill por Ponte d'Arli. In places S.Emidio turn left towards Agore. Past the crossroads for Vallefusella Fork and turn right and walk uphill to the village of Rocchetta. After going up and down caressing the mountain ridge overlooking the Fosso di Acquaviva come to Rocchetta and continue to Agore. From this village we take the beautiful single trak 402 that secnde in Poggio Rocchetta. Take the road to Tallacano, at an iron bar located on the right going up a dirt road that leads to the church of San Pietro. After a brief visit to Sasso Cutaway, let's go back a few feet back and turn right inerpicandoci for a short but tough trail that climbs steeply on Mount Vicito. After reaching the summit of the mountain bike with a shoulder, turn right and follow the path up to 416-417 lean out on the scenic Bow Lace. The combination of paths 417-402-414 is the one we have chosen to return to the starting point, a trail of rare beauty that moves in the Apennines Lost giving great excitement and fun.
