Giro stupendo dal punto di vista paesaggistico e adatto a tutti i biker con un minimo di preparazione.
Consiglio la partenza da Tavernole, da cui si sale verso Marmentino, per la comoda salita. Arrivati a Marmentino, appena passato il palazzo comunale, si svolti con una decisa U a sinistra, dove percorrendo un stradina proprio sul retro del palazzo comunale, ci si arrampica per una decisa salita, in alcuni punti con pendenze di rilievo e fondo smosso, dove solo i meno preparati metteranno giù il piede, ma poco male. La strada è larga e non c'è nessun problema né possibilità d'errore, solo in prossimità dello scollinamento, un bivio che indica a SX cima dell'asino, e a destra un sentiero più stretto, può trarre in inganno, perché bisogna andare a destra per una comoda stradina in falsopiano, su fondo molto flow. Di lì a poco si aprirà uno scenario unico, su un sentiero da sogno, tanto è fluido, che percorre una cresta che punta verso il "castello della pena", il paesaggio è veramente fantastico. La discesa si stacca a sinistra del sentiero, anche qui non c'è possibilità d'errore. Sempre facile e fluida, tranne in un punto dove i meno abili faranno qualche metro a piedi. Il sintiero finisce su una stradina su cemento che può essere viscido, e che porta di nuovo a Marmentino. Arrivati sulla strada principale la attraversiamo, fino a un bivio dove teniamo la destra, e prendiamo un largo sterrato. Qui non ci sono tracce, ma è impossibile sbagliare, si scende per morbidi prati fino a raggiungere una strada di fondovalle, dove teniamo la DX. Risaliamo fino alla strada che porta da tavernole a marmentino, proseguendo in discesa per tavernole. Ad un tornate un cartello indica Lavone, lo seguiamo, e dopo aver percorso una larga strada sterrata, chiudiamo il giro in un bel single in un boschetto, che poi darà in una frazione antica di Lavone. Qui è possibile attraversare il Mella su un ponte di legno sospeso su corde, oppure proseguire fino alla strada asfaltata. Arrivati a Lavone si torna in discesa a tavernole.
Il giro è adatto a tutte le bici, anche XC rigide.

The road is wide and there is no problem or possibility of error, only near the brow, a crossroad that tells SX top of the donkey, and on the right a path more closely, it can be misleading, because you have to go to right to a comfortable road on a slight slope, on a much flow. Soon you will get a unique setting, on a path to dream, so much fluid, which runs a ridge pointing towards the 'house of pain', the scenery is really fantastic. The drop off to the left of the path, even here there is no possibility of error. Always easy and smooth, except at one point where the less able they will walk a few meters. The sintiero ends up on a street of concrete can be slippery, and that goes back to Marmentino. Once on the main road to cross, to a crossroads where we keep the right, and take a wide dirt road. Here there are no tracks, but it is impossible to go wrong, it comes down to soft meadows until you reach a road in the valley, where we keep the DX. We climb up to the road that leads from Tavernole in Marmentino, continuing downhill for Tavernole. Sign indicates a return to a Lavone, follow him, and after covering a wide dirt road, we close the circle in a nice single in a grove, which will then give you a fraction of ancient Lavone. Here you can cross the Mella on a wooden bridge suspended on ropes, or go to the paved road. Once in Lavone it's back down to Tavernole.
The tour is suitable for all bikes, even XC rigid.
