Questo che propongo è un itinerario a mio avviso molto divertente, che richiede dalle due alle tre ore e che presenta tipologie diverse di discesa, dal single track nel bosco alla mulattiera sassosa, alla strada sterrata. Non sono mai eccessivamente tecniche e sono fattibili con una front, anche se per godersele al meglio servirebbe una full. Il percorso si sviluppa all'80% su sterrato.
Si parte da San Pietro in Cariano, dove si può lasciare l'auto all'ACI (Via Avanzi 4) e ci si dirige verso Gargagnago, si passa la chiesa e si imbocca la strada prima asfaltata e dopo sterrata che sale attraverso la pineta.
Giunti alla strada asfaltata si gira a sinistra e dopo circa 500 metri si gira a destra per una strada sterrata. Qui si imbocca un breve single track in salita che metterà a dura prova le nostre gambe.
Giunti sulla strada asfaltata si prosegue in salita per poi prendere una breve discesa su sterrato che ci porterà su un nuovo breve tratto in salita con pendenza impegnativa.
Si passa quindi davanti alla croce e si prosegue su asfalto in salita fino ad imboccare a destra una strada sterrata che ci porterà al punto più alto del nostro percorso a quota di circa 650 metri.
Qui imboccheremo un single track sulla sinistra (indicazioni Monte) in discesa, molto divertente e con alcuni passaggi tecnici. Giunti di nuovo sull'asfalto si prosegue per località Calcarole e di qui si giunge a Monte dove si prende una mulattiera in discesa che porterà su una strada sterrata pianeggiante (quota 300 metri) che proseguirà per qualche chilometro e che lasceremo poi per imboccare sulla destra un single track che porterà alla Ca Verde e di qui a S. Ambrogio. Si fa quindi una breve deviazione tra le vigne per tornare su sterrato al punto di partenza.

I propose that this is a route in my opinion a lot of fun, which requires two to three hours and which presents different types of descent from the single track trail in the woods to the rocky, the dirt road. I'm never overly technical and are feasible with a front, although enjoy them better serve a full house. The route is 80% on dirt.
We leave San Pietro in Cariano, where you can leave your car ACI (Advance Via 4) and we head towards Gargagnago, you pass the church and take the first paved road and dirt after rising through the pine forest.
On reaching the road turn left and after 500 meters turn right onto a dirt road. Here, take a short single track climb that will test our legs.
Once on the paved road continues uphill and then take a short downhill on a dirt road that will take us on a new short climb with a gradient challenging .
It then goes before the cross and continue on asphalt uphill until you turn right onto a dirt road that will take us to the highest point of our journey at an altitude of about 650 meters.
here before continuing on a single track on the left (signposted Monte) downhill, very funny and with some technical sections. Joints new asphalt continue to resort Calcarole and here we arrive at Monte where you take a trail down which will bring on a flat dirt road (altitude 300 meters), which will continue for a few miles and then we'll leave that to take on the right a single track that will lead to Ca Verde and here at St. Ambrose. It is then a short detour through the vineyards to get back on the dirt road to the starting point.
