Due itinerari in una traccia:
1) Partendo dal paese (Capranica fronte caserma CC), un bel giro in mezzo ai castagneti secolari di Capranica Prenestina alla ricerca delle storiche casette dove seccavano le mosciarelle, alcune diroccate ed alcune ancora utilizzate.
Nei boschi pochi tratti di asfalto, molte carrarecce di pietra bianca, sentieri e tracce nella vegetazione, tratti a volte impegnativi da fare con la testa ... a quota zero c'è solo solida pietra.
Di casette ne ho trovate e mappate 10 battendo i tracciati principali, ma ce ne sono di certo altre ... se fate questo giro con un gps mandatemi poi la traccia e le posizioni, mi piacerebbe riuscire a mappare tutti i percorsi nei castagneti per vedere se si pù creare un unico percorso/giro e mappare tutte le casette dove una volta seccavano le mosciarelle.
2) Tornati al paese, se si ha tempo e voglia si puo prendere la strada verso Guadagnolo (quota 1218 m) che dista circa 10km da Capranica, quasi tutti in salita (dislivello da 915 a 1218 m) ... per poi godersi prima la vista mozzafiato del panorama e poi la meritata discesa fino alla macchina.
Nel file .gpx trovate inserite le descrizioni dei punti, parcheggio auto, punti acqua fresca, casette mosciarelle, panorami, ecc.

Two routes in a track:
1) Starting from the village (opposite the barracks Capranica CC), a ride in the middle of the chestnut trees of Capranica Prenestina in search of the historical houses where the mosciarelle inconvenienced, some in ruins and some still utilized.
In the woods a few stretches of asphalt, a lot of white stone driveways, paths and trails in the vegetation, whether sometimes challenging to do with the head ... at zero there is only solid stone. Portrait Of houses, I found and mapped 10 by beating the principal routes, but there are certainly others ... if you do this tour with a gps then send me the track and positions, I'd be able to map all paths in the chestnut to see if pù you create a single path / rev and map all the houses where once the mosciarelle inconvenienced.
2) Returned to the country, if you have time and feel like you can take the road towards Guadagnolo (altitude 1218m) which is about 10km from Capranica, almost all uphill (difference from 915 to 1218 m) ... and then enjoy the breathtaking view of the landscape first and then the well-deserved descent to the car.
In file .gpx found included descriptions of points, car parking, fresh water points, mosciarelle houses, landscapes, etc..
