Il Monte Fema (1575 m.) sovrasta Visso all'imbocco della Val Nerina e ha una parte sommitale con pascoli interminabili alternati a dolci pendii. Scopo del giro è la discesa dalla sommità del monte a Visso, per tratti del Sentiero Italia poco frequentati che attraversano la zona detta Cecavisso e la Val Lopara. Il sentiero regala spettacolari panorami sulla Val Nerina ed il gruppo del Monte Bove e nella parte finale sembra quasi “precipitare” sui tetti del paese. Si è scelto di salire al Monte Fema dall'Aschio, piccola frazione di Visso posta alle sue pendici settentrionali. E' una salita durissima che presenta un fondo compatto, cementato in qualche tratto, dove la pedalabilità è relativa alla forza del biker! C'è un'alternativa per salire in vetta! E' dal lato opposto del monte, dall'abitato di Croce per il Fosso di Torsa, come descritto nel percorso già pubblicato sul ns. sito (Appennino Umbro-Marchigiano- “Monte Fema”).

The Monte Fema (1575 m.) Visso dominates the entrance of the Val Nerina and has a top part with endless pastures alternating with gentle slopes. The purpose of the tour is the descent from the summit of Mount Visso, for stretches of the trail Italy that crisscross the area called Cecavisso and Val Lopara. The trail offers spectacular views over the Val Nerina and the Monte Bove and at the end it seems almost "fall" on the roofs of the village. You have chosen to climb to Monte Fema dall'Aschio, a small fraction of Visso mail to its northern slopes. It 'a tough climb that has a bottom compact, cemented in some places, where the pedalability is related to the strength of the biker! There is an alternative to climb to the top!
