Trail Description

buon giro :-)

It starts from the car park near the church of San Pancrazio in Crespano, immediately on asphalt way in the steep climb to the Madonna del COVOLO, initially between the houses and then begins the Via Crucis (literally .... I counted all 15 capitals and I waited anxiously to get to the next) thin out the houses on the edge of the road. It 'a climb almost straight across in the last 2 Km never drops below 10%, with peaks of 16%. Remember to get your fill of water x water bottles at Sanctuary of Our Lady of Covolo, Buy last refueling until the return, there is' a fountain at the church DX (to visit if possible), you go back x 50 meters up the restaurant of Covolo and take the road that goes uphill encountering a Convent on the right and more 'on a Farm (x have heard good salami them:-) and a few hundred meters above it can' see a WM written with trees that I do not know if it's x VIVA MADONNA .... boh try to interpret ....).
From here on begins the PATH (S1-S2 in my opinion) dirt road 105, a mule that goes up to the constant casera Ardosetta initially well maintained and with good background ... going up instead becomes a little more 'rough and loose surfaces difficult at times but you can not do in the saddle from the bottom to the top, allowing the legs ( I have given some pause times even though I had a bit stretched due to sunset, but if we do not 'not there' ....:-().
The trail climbs through forty switchbacks carved into the rock in some places, very beautiful as a rose even if it were to be done on foot, climbing it enjoys a large landscape, overlooking Crespano. Along the way you meet a bench at a crossroads on the SX, SX and continue to pass the bar, then meet a couple of altars set on the rock and a bit of crosses with the straightest path 106 that scale parallel and more 'steep. < br> At the top I have the good fortune to meet 3 deer that precede me going up with me along a path x 50 meters.
You get so hard-up to CASERA ARDOSETTA (1480 mt from GPS data) from there you can see the Cima Grappa and the Rifugio Bassano, seem compelling .... one step ...... x and continuing the trail crossing the road ... it would be enough to have the legs and the time ..
.. From there, take the road that goes down to the VALLEY OF TACK and while I rest waiting for the drop in real dirt, a couple of tunnels and beautiful landscapes surrounded by cliffs on the DX, Buy, looking at DX carefully you can see the initial part of the path down which consists of a series of tight switchbacks and steep, Buy, you get up to the esplanade called Pian DEA BALA from which also the path 152 of the said Meatte. I will inbocco down the path down the x VALLEY Lastego (I think the 151 number as) (S2-S3 in my opinion) from where he lives the eponymous river that passes x Crespano. I decided to do this from the top down just months before seeing her during another excursion, it looked amazing: -) Anyway ...
fairly technical descent with stony bottom and stones, I've dealt with from All-Bike muntain pretty good but not 'x descent who is afraid, cliffs and tight switchbacks (70 more or less) that are faced in skidding with the rear wheel locked and foot interior that supports doing slightly pin ... too bad that many of the bends at the beginning they drain the water just in time for x and then and 'hard to get them with continuity' but you have to lift the bike x make the leap drain:-(certainly on the initial part you can not 'go it all, because overhangs, but the landscape that you can enjoy the valley and 'gorgeous, seems to be out of civilization x a good stretch, the hole in the rear tire on a rim ... ufff quick change but now' dark. then you enter the forest where there is' Suddenly more 'quick and easy with the bottom, very nice, you go through more' times the stream Lastego and then meet other trails that descend from Meatte, the trail initially narrow, it becomes a trail and then a mixed cement road, dirt road up to when you start to see civilization and houses. Before arriving at the restaurant S LIBERAL there are various signs dating back to the GREAT WAR, tunnels, shelters tools, and locations xi guns, trenches and whatnot .... very nice to see in a wonderful valley in the green, to visit if you has at its disposal a moment of time, maybe x pause sandwich. Little more 'down' there 'restaurant in the locality' BUS DE REFOSS, then go down from there on the asphalt road always skirting the river, crosses the road leading up the Salto della Capra x and then switch where x Fietta you come to a small roundabout, take the first road to the right at the roundabout and go down to Crespano, you do the last time the jump in the river and and 'arrived at the starting point.
I hope to have been accurate and .... that will be useful.
accept benvolentieri comments and miscellaneous notes, and 'that the first public-)
good lap-)
