Oggi mentre facevo il mio giro domenicale pensavo : " ... se un biker esigente che non conosce i Colli Euganei, dovesse chiedermi di fargli da guida lo porterei di certo su questi sentieri ...".
Eccolo qua il giro
Perchè è bello ? perchè su 40 km di percorso solo 6km sono su asfalto e dei restanti 34km almeno 15km sono su single track bellissimi, perchè include tratti poco conosciuti e quindi poco frequentati, ma molto suggestivi.
In particolare, come bellezza, il clou dell'itinerario inizia dal Piccolo Marte e termina a Battaglia Terme.
Di positivo c'è che il single track del M.Siesa (al km 21) è ancora percorribile (è palese che i divieti sono rivolti motocrossisti) anche se 10m di salita a piedi sono obbligatori.
Attenzione alla salita del Piccolo Marte (al km 23) che all'inizio è molto scassata dall'erosione ma comunque interamente ciclabile.
Attenzione alla discesa della Madonnetta (al km 26) che in questo periodo è particolarmente sconnessa e tecnica (per farla tutta in sella mi sono scorticato una mano su un albero).
Io quel tratto del M.delle Valli l'ho soprannominato lo Stelvio dei Colli Euganei perchè si fanno un sacco di tornanti stretti.
Attenzione al single track del M.Trevisan (al km 28) dove 30m di salita a piedi saranno obbligatori.
Dopo essere passati a fianco della discussa villa del Onorevole Ascierto è bellissimo il tratto sul M.Nuovo, molto panoramico e suggestivo perchè si passa proprio sopra il tunnel della ferrovia.
Rimane comunque un itinerario che richiede una certa preparazione perchè ci sono diversi tratti di salita impegnativi a causa della pendenza e del fondo del sentiero, cosi come alcune discese che richiedono una certa esperienza, se si può meglio affrontarle con una full.
PASSANDO SUL MONTE TREVISAN (16.09.2012 h17.15) PER TERRA HO TROVATO UN PAIO DI OCCHIALI SPORTIVI IN BUONO STATO.
SE QUALCUNO LI AVESSE SMARRITI MI CONTATTI, GLIELI RESTITUIRO' VOLENTIERI.
OVVIAMENTE L'INTERESSATO MI DIRA' LA MARCA E IL COLORE COSI' SARO' SICURO DI CONSEGNARLI A CHI VERAMENTE LI HA SMARRITI.
