Trail Description

Verso antiorario – km 27 – dislivello 1280m. – Altezza min.188m / max.1150m

out from Faedis (parking in the square). It takes in the direction of Grivò Canal, and on a paved road climbs up to the gates of the village of Pedrosa, where the 8.2 km you have to turn right again on asphalt. At 9.3 km turn left onto the dirt road where at times, due to the very uneven bottom, we must push the bike by hand (Photo1) and 11.3 km you will reach the location of the Madonnina Sun From here, with another 200 vertical meters you reach the summit of Mount Joanaz from where you can enjoy a 360 ° panorama that sweeps from the plains below up to the mountains Canin, Black and Matajur. (Foto2)
We descend along the ridge to shoot the track to climb to km14,4 and after about 200 meters turn right on a technical trail (CAI 3) with stepped bottom of the roots (Foto3) and in 2 km will lead us to the nozzle of St. Anthony. Take the road to Porzus and 17.7 km we turn right onto the concrete road that climbs steeply towards the huts Porzus, scene of a massacre at the hands of a hundred partisans took place in February 1945.
Reaching and take a left past the huts on a ramp, following signs for Clap. Take the track in a pine forest up to the crest of the mountain Januar where you come down on a bed of pine needles very steeply to a tarred road (km 19.6). Turn right and after 400 meters turn left on the path, with a technical descent through the woods, you come to a cross with an up and down Porzus us back on the road to the cross and on a stony path will reach the country. On entering the village you go down and follow the signs for Attimis and height of a curve you take a dirt road after a hundred meters is transformed into a Single track (Foto4) marked by red marks on trees and rocks. In the first part of the trail is fun and easy, in the central part there are short stretches very difficult to overcome in the saddle mtb that require excellent technical skills and good courage.
