Questo itinerario si svolge ai piedi della parete orientale della "montagna madre", passando per i luoghi più suggestivi dei questo versante come le grotte di San Bartolomeo (Palombaro), l'ingresso alle gole di F.S. Martino e la pineta di Lama dei Peligni, dove in quest'ultima non è affatto raro avvistare i camosci.
Si parte da Civitella Messer Raimondo, si passa per i pastifici De Cecco di Fara San Martino e da qui si raggiunge Palombaro. Da qui si raggiunge la frazione Cantagufo seguendo carrarecce sterrate, si sorpassa la frazione Confini e si incrocia la strada asfaltata che porta al Monte d'Ugni. Da qui dopo un pezzo in salita si gira a sinistra seguendo le Coste Manganelle e passando sotto la Grotta di Sant'Angelo, quindi l'eremo di San Bartolomeo. L'Asfaltata diventa sterrata e poi nuovamente asfaltata. Da qui si riprende una mulattiera che scende con un tracciato molto tecnico e divertente verso Fara San Martino.
Da qui, costeggiando l'ingresso alle gole, si prende la statale in direzione Lama dei Peligni e si svolta a destra al bivio per la Casa del Pastore. Da qui comincia un sentiero che porta dentro la pineta di Lama dei Peligni toccando la quota massima di 920 metri s.l.m. Il sentiero arriva a Lama dei Peligni all'altezza del cimitero, da qui si ritorna al punto di partenza seguendo la statale e deviando per alcuni tratti sterrati.
Sia la distanza che il dislivello lo rendono un percorso impegnativo, fatiche che però vengono ripagate dall'enorme aspetto naturalistico e panoramico di questo percorso.

This route takes place at the foot of the eastern wall of the "mother mountain", passing through the most beautiful places of this side as the caves of San Bartolomeo (Diver), the entrance to the gorges of FS Martin and the pine forest of Lama Peligni, where the latter is not at all uncommon to see the chamois.
It starts from Civitella Messer Raimondo, we pass by the De Cecco pasta of Fara San Martino and from here you reaches Diver. From here you reach the village Cantagufo following unpaved dirt roads, overtaking the village boundaries and crosses the paved road that leads to Monte d'Ugni. From here after a bit uphill, turn left and follow the Manganelle Coste and passing under the Grotta di Sant'Angelo, and the hermitage of San Bartholomew. The Dirt becomes a dirt road and then re-paved. From here you take a trail that descends with a very technical and fun to Fara San Martino.
From here, passing the entrance to the gorge, take the main road in the direction of Lama Peligni and turn right at the fork to Casa del Pastor. From here begins a path that leads into the pine forest of Lama Peligni touching the maximum altitude of 920 meters above sea level The trail reaches Lama Peligni at the cemetery, from here we return to the starting point along the main road and turning for a few dirt roads.
Both the distance that the altitude makes it a challenging course, efforts but all are worth the enormous natural and scenic aspect of this path.
