Gran bel giro della media-alta Valtournenche.
La traccia parte da La Magdeleine ma si puo' benissimo partire da Chamois risalendo dal fondo valle con comoda e non costosa funivia (fraz Buisson).
Da Chamois fino a Salette-Valtournenche è in comune a quest'altro itinerario:(si passa da Cheneil attraverso omonimo colletto).
Da Salette con segnaletica chiara si segue il 107, bucolico e panoramico prima e piu' roccioso dopo (tratti non pedalabili). Si attraversa la condotta d'acqua di Perreres e si scende fino alle porte di Cervinia. In corrispondenza del nuovo distributore si prende il nr 1, piacevole lungo il torrente Marmore, fino all'area attrezzata di Perreres. Da qui nr 8 con magnifica strada praticamente in piano per vari km, scorci bellissimi e insoliti, gallerie, ponticello ardito ... fino a Promoron. Da qui tecnica mulattiera fino a Maen da fare tutta in sella ma con molta attenzione. E' la tipica mulattiera dove i massi sono levigati dal tempo quindi da evitare o quantomeno da fare con estrema cautela in caso di condizione di bagnato. Nella scala difficoltà ho messo difficile riferendomi a questo tratto. Da Maen ci sono ancora tratti di fuoristrada fino a Buisson (un po' nascosti ma facendo attenzione si trovano indicazioni segnavia 1).
Gps non indispensabile, basta scaricare la cartina quioppure comprarla all'ufficio informazioni di Antey (2€). Uscita Chatillon-St Vincent, seguire per Cervinia. Arrivati ad Antey St Andre girare a dx per la Magdeleine oppure proseguire fino a Buisson se si sceglie di partire da qui.

Great tour of the beautiful medium-high Valtournenche.
Track from La Magdeleine but you can 'fine from Chamois going from the valley floor with convenient and inexpensive cable (hamlet Buisson).
From Chamois up to Salette- Valtournenche is common to this other route: (switching from Cheneil through the collar of the same name).
From Salette with clear signage follow the 107 most bucolic and picturesque before and 'after rocky (not ridable stretches). Cross the water pipe of Perreres and go down to the gates of Cervinia. In accordance with the new distributor you take the nr 1, pleasant along the creek Falls, up to the picnic area of Perreres. From here nr 8 with magnificent road practically flat for several miles, beautiful views and unusual, galleries, bold jumper ... until Promoron. From here trail technique to Maen to do all in the saddle but very carefully. And 'the typical trail where the rocks are smoothed over time so as to avoid or at least be done with extreme caution in wet condition. I put in the hard difficulty scale referring to this stretch. By Maen there are still stretches of off-road to Buisson (a little 'hidden but making sure there are indications signpost 1).
Gps not required, just download the map hereor buy office information Antey (2 €). Chatillon-St Vincent, follow to Cervinia. Once in Antey St Andre, turn right for the Magdeleine or continue to Buisson if you choose to start from here.
