Verso orario - km 38 – 850 m di dislivello
L'itinerario parte dal piazzale di Casa Rossa, dopo qualche centinaio di metri raggiunge il valico pedonale del Rafut e da qui si svolge interamente in territorio sloveno.
Raggiungeremo così la stazione della Transalpina e successivamente il paese di Salcan.
Oltrepassato il paese svoltiamo a sx sul ponte del fiume Isonzo. Subito dopo il ponte svoltiamo a sx sulla pista sterrata che costeggia il fiume e dopo c.a 10 km raggiunge Plave.
Da Plave raggiungiamo il borgo di Paljevo per poi inoltrarci nel bosco e immettersi nella via dei monti Sacri. Scolliniamo all'altezza di un quadrivio e planiamo sino a Grgar; da qui su asfalto saliamo per un breve tratto e ci inoltriamo nuovamente su una carrareccia che ci porta fino al monte Kekec, quindi scenderemo su un sentiero a tratti tecnico per sbucare a Nova Goriza per poi rientrare in Italia.
Se si esclude la discesa che dal Kekec scende a Nova Goriza (evitabile seguendo la strada asfaltata), l'itinerario si svolge interamente su strade asfaltate e comodi sterrati.

The route starts from the square of the Red House, after a few hundred meters reaches the crossing pedestrian Rafut and from there takes place entirely in the territory of Slovenia.

passed the town turn left on the bridge of the river Isonzo. Immediately after the bridge turn left on the dirt road that runs along the river and after about 10 km reaches plave.
From plave we reach the village of Paljevo then penetrate into the woods and onto the road to the mountains sacred. Scolliniamo at a crossroads and planiamo until Grgar; From here we climb out of asphalt for a short distance and we move again on a track that leads to the mountain Kekec, then go down a path that is sometimes technician to come out to Nova Gorica and then back to Italy.
If we exclude the descent from Kekec down to Nova Gorica (avoidable by following the paved road), the route is entirely on paved roads and dirt roads comfortable.
