Non si poteva non realizzare questo giro che ha come meta principale la montagna simbolo del Parco dei Sibillini, il Monte Sibilla (2.173 m.). A dare origine al nome della montagna e addirittura a quello di tutto il Gruppo è la famosa Sibilla appenninica, narrata da Andrea da Barberino nel popolarissimo romanzo cavalleresco “Guerrin Meschino”, il più antico documento letterario (1410) che parla della Sibilla appenninica. A questa, che vive in un antro misterioso (la famosa Grotta della Sibilla) si rivolge il Meschino, cavaliere errante che viaggia alla ricerca delle sue origini. Partendo da Rocca, per il ripido sentiero che risale il Fosso dei Bagni e il Fosso Lungo, si raggiunge la “strada della Sibilla”, un altro simbolo, questa volta negativo di questa montagna, che ne sfregia orrendamente il suo fianco meridionale. Con 12 km. di salita abbastanza agevole, con stupendi panorami sul gruppo del Vettore e sul Gran Sasso, si arriva alla sella posta tra Cima Vallelunga e la Sibilla (2.100 m.). Inizia ora la parte più aerea del giro, l'avvicinamento alla vetta su di un'affilata cresta, dove si alternano panoramici single-tracks e brevi passaggi alpinistici. Con un'ultimo passaggio esposto si è in vetta, ampio pianoro erboso dove è situata la famosa Grotta delle Fate (più conosciuta come Grotta della Sibilla), il cui ingresso è ostruito da crolli causati da discutibili ricerche “scientifiche” risalenti agli anni 50. Per scendere dalla “Corona”, fascia rocciosa di 5 metri che contorna la cima della Sibilla, bisogna calarsi con attenzione aiutandosi con le catene fisse e, superati un paio di alti gradoni, si arriva alla lunga dorsale erbosa che collega la Sibilla al Monte Zampa. La si percorre per un chilometro circa fino ad un ampio avvallamento dove si svolta a destra fino a raggiungere un sottostante sentiero che riporta alla carrozzabile e quindi al casale della Banditella. Qui inizia l'impegnativo sentiero del Ramatico, che taglia i fianchi della Sibilla e di Cima Vallelunga attraversando canali detritici e speroni erbosi molto suggestivi fino ad incrociare, all'altezza della Fonte S.Maria, il sentiero n°154 detto Zappacenere, che scende per l'omonimo fosso fino a Foce da dove si ritorna su asfalto a Rocca.

Here begins the difficult path of Ramatico, which cuts the sides of the Sibyl and Cima Vallelunga through channels detrital spurs and grassy very impressive until you cross, at St. Mary of the Source, the path n ° 154 Zappacenere said, coming down for the eponymous ditch until Foce where returns on asphalt Rocca.
