Il giro di oggi può essere paragonato alle due facce, profondamente diverse, di una stessa medaglia. La salita a Piano Roseto, tutta su asfalto, con partenza da Aprati, non è mai impegnativa anzi piuttosto monotona e sorniona anche se ci regala una bella vista sul Fosso Vaccaroli e sulle alte vette della Laga. Quando finalmente si giunge a Piano Roseto, tagliamo la piana erbosa addentrandoci nel bosco. In uscita da quest’ultimo prendiamo il non facile sentiero n.529 per Madonna della Tibia. Attenzione ad un punto particolarmente esposto che sarebbe cosa buona e giusta percorrerlo con prudenza oltre che a piedi. Dalla chiesetta della Madonna della Tibia giriamo a sx per un ulteriore tratto “trialistico” che sfocia sul Piano di Crognaleto. Proseguiamo fino ad incrociare un rudere sulla sx con tanto di croce in ricordo di due malcapitati residenti vittime di un fulmine caduto sulle loro teste. Proseguiamo attraversando per intero la piana fino a rientrare nella fitta boscaglia. Ora seguiamo l’evidente traccia che inizia ad insinuarsi tra i cespugli. Si incomincia a scendere su fondo tecnico mantenendosi sempre sul crinale montuoso e transitando da Colle Pizzuto alla Piana dei Ferri fino alla scassatissima “Scaletta”. Giungiamo ad un abbeveratoio e prendiamo la brecciata per Piano Vomano. Dopo poche pedalate incrociamo la chiesetta di S. Antonio e giriamo a dx per un sentiero largo che dapprima scende per poi risalire ripido a ricongiungersi con la sterrata principale. Seguiamo ora la sterrata che risale leggermente sino ad una palina C.A.I. Prendiamo a dx direzione Cervaro- Nerito e scendiamo vertiginosamente a Valle Trocchi. Alla base del fossato una nuova palina C.A.I. ci indica di andare a sx per Aprati-Nerito. A questo punto non ci resta che gustare a pieno il sentiero n.531, recentemente ripulito, che con stupendi passaggi nel bosco e qualche tornante “da intenditori” ci riporta ad Aprati.

The ride today can be compared to the two faces are completely different, of the same coin. The climb to the Piano Roseto, all on asphalt, departing from Aprati, it is never difficult indeed pretty dull and sly though gives us a nice view of the Fosso Vaccaroli and the high peaks of Laga. When he finally reaches Piano Roseto, we cut the grassy plain penetrating into the wood. Output from the latter does not take the easy path 529 to Our Lady of Tibia. Attention to a point that it would be particularly exposed right and just follow it carefully over that distance. From the church of Our Lady of the Tibia turn left to another section "Dedicated trials" which leads to the Plan of Croghan. Continue until you reach a ruin on the left with a lot of cross in memory of two victims of the unfortunate residents of a lightning strike on their heads. We continue through the whole flat to within the dense bush. Now we follow the obvious track that starts to creep in the bushes. It begins to descend on a technical being always on the mountain ridge and passing by Colle Pizzuto to Piana dei Ferri to beat up "ladder." We come to a watering hole and take the brecciata for Piano Vomano. After a few rides we cross the little church of S. Antonio and turn right for a wide path that first goes down and then up steeply to rejoin the main dirt road. Let us now follow the dirt road that goes slightly up to a pole CAI Take a right towards Cervaro- Nerito and descend steeply to the Valley Trocchi. At the base of the moat a new pole C.A.I. tells us to go left for Aprati-Nerito. At this point we just have to enjoy the full path 531, recently cleaned, which with beautiful passages in the woods and a few hairpin "connoisseurs" takes us back to Aprati.
