Partiamo dall’abitato di Intermesoli, agglomerato di case abitate da poche anime, sito alle pendici della valle del Rio Arno. Il primo segmento di percorso consta di circa 10km di asfaltata che da Intermesoli passa per il comune di Pietracamela e raggiunge la località turistica dei Prati di Tivo. Ha qui inizio il secondo segmento del percorso odierno. Dal piazzale dei Prati di Tivo scendiamo alla base degli impianti sciistici e imbocchiamo sulla dx il Sentiero Italia che velocissimo taglia i Prati Bassi. Incrociata l’asfaltata proseguiamo sempre sulla stessa traccia che diviene nettamente più tecnica e divertente. Dal fondo colmo di fogliame, si passa alla roccia poi l’itinerario si semplifica e costeggia un affluente del Rio Arno, d’improvviso torna ripido e tecnico culminando a Pietracamela. Arriviamo in corrispondenza di una gigantesca roccia, scendiamo tra i vicoli del paesino e subito svoltiamo a sx per Intermesoli ma troviamo uno sbarramento che ci impedisce di proseguire. Facilmente bypassiamo l’ostacolo e raggiungiamo la parte inferiore dell’ormai famosa frana di Pietracamela. Oltrepassata la frana prendiamo il sentiero n.148 che taglia le Coste di Contaradarno. Questo è il terzo ed ultimo segmento del percorso, sicuramente il più difficile da affrontare, un single track dove addirittura nella prima parte vi scorre acqua, dove durante la maggior parte del tragitto al fondo roccioso si alternano timide e brevi risalite. Per il resto il trail n. 148 è certamente galavanizzante, sommato al sentiero 200 Prati di Tivo-Pietracamela forma un giusto mix da vivere in poche ore ma molto intense e “trialistiche”.

Let's start from the town of Intermesoli, cluster of houses inhabited by a few people, situated on the slopes of the valley of the River Arno. The first path segment consists of approximately 10km of asphalt from Intermesoli passes through the town of Pietracamela and reach the tourist resort of Prati di Tivo. Here begins the second segment of the route today. From the square of Prati di Tivo descend to the base of the ski lifts and we take the path on the right that fast cuts Prati Italy Netherlands. Cross the tarmac we continue on the same track that becomes much more technical and fun. From the bottom filled with foliage, you go to the rock then the route is simplified and runs along a tributary of the Rio Arno, suddenly returns steep and technical culminating in Pietracamela. We arrive at a gigantic rock, go down the narrow streets of the village and immediately turn left to Intermesoli but there is a barrier that prevents us from continuing. Easily bypassiamo the obstacle and reach the bottom of the now famous landslide Pietracamela. Beyond the landslide take the path 148 that cuts the Coasts of Contaradarno. This is the third and last segment of the path, certainly the most difficult to deal with, where even a single track in the first part there flowing water, where during the greater part of the journey to the rocky bottom alternate timid and short ascents. For the rest of the trail n. 148 is certainly galavanizzante, added to the path 200 Prati di Tivo-Pietracamela form a good mix living in a few hours but very intense and "trialistiche."
