Itinerario semplice nella splendida Val Trebbia, a poca distanza da Piacenza. Terreno argilloso, quindi affrontare solo in caso di terreno asciutto.
Da Rivergaro si imbocca la statale direzione Bobbio; si supera l'osteria Bellaria dopodichè sulla sinistra si abbandona la SS45 imboccando la strada che porta a Savignano e case dei Co'. Si passa nell'aia dell'unica casa che forma Ca dei Co', e si inizia una divertente ma breve di scesa su terreno argilloso (impraticabile in caso di terreno bagnato) alla fine della quale ci si trova sulla strada del "Bagnolo" sopra Rivergaro che si segue girando a destra in direzione Ponte dell'Olio.
Si prosegue su asfalto fino a superare l'osteria del Bagnolo (per gli autoctoni: Astolfa), passata la quale si imbocca la deviazione sulla destra che porta a Mandrola. Arrivati a Costa di Bassano, si puo' proseguire su asfalto in direzione Mandrola, oppure optare per lo sterrato sulla sinistra che porta anch'essa a Mandrola. La traccia gpx riporta la prima soluzione, ma la seconda è piu' divertente.
A pian del Pozzo è possibile abbeverarsi alla fontanella appena sotto le scale sulla destra. Si prosegue su asfalto su strada panoramica a cavallo tra val Trebbia e Val Nure, fino ad arrivare a Mandrola.
Da qui inizia lo sterrato che si inoltra nel bosco e in breve arriva a un trivio. Si tiene la strada sulla destra.
[Per la cronaca: per gli amanti del downhill, la strada sulla sinistra porta sul monte Dinavolo da cui ci si puo' lanciare in una discesa molto tecnica. La strada al centro non porta da nessuna parte.]
Una brevissima salita porta ad imboccare un single-track molto divertente ma non troppo tecnico (che anche le pippe come me possono affrontare senza problemi divertendosi :-) ).
Si raggiunge Chiulano (fonte ristoratrice con ottima acqua freschissima) e da qui ancora su asfalto fino a ricongiungersi alla SS45 all'altezza di Quadrelli.
Si ritorna a Rivergaro con alcuni pallosissimi chilometri su statale. Da piacenza si segue la direzione Val Trebbia e si raggiunge Rivergaro.

Simple route in the beautiful Val Trebbia, not far from Piacenza. Clay soil, so deal only in the case of dry soil.
From Rivergaro take the state towards Bobbio; you exceed the tavern after which Bellaria on the left abandons the SS45 and take the road that leads to the homes of Savignano and Co '. It goes in the yard of the only house that form of Ca Co ', and it starts a funny but fell short on clay soil (impractical in the case of wet soil) at the end of which one is on the way "Bagnolo" above Rivergaro that follows, turning right towards Ponte Oil.
Continue on the asphalt until you pass the inn of Bagnolo (for natives: Astolfa), which take the last turning on the right which leads to Mandrola . Once in Costa Bassano, you can 'continue on asphalt in the direction Mandrola, or opt for the dirt road on the left which leads also to Mandrola. The track gpx shows the first solution, but the second is more 'fun.
A pian del Pozzo you can drink at the fountain just below the stairs on the right. Continue on asphalt road panoramic straddling Trebbia and Val Nure, until you get to Mandrola.
From here begins the dirt road that leads into the forest and soon comes to a crossroads. It holds the road on the right.
[For the record: for lovers of downhill, the road on the left leads to the mountain Dinavolo from which you can 'throw in a technical descent. The road to the center does not lead anywhere.] On A short climb leads to a single-track, take a lot of fun but not too technical (which also blowjobs like me can deal with problems without having fun:-)).
It reaches Chiulano (source restaurateur with excellent fresh water) and then again on asphalt to rejoin the SS45 height of Quartermaine.
returns to Rivergaro with some pallosissimi kilometers of highway. From piacenza follow the direction Trebbia and reach Rivergaro.
