Questo è un giro che ho studiato in occasione della visita dell'amico Scratera in Valconca, in occasione delle sue vacanze nella vicina terra di Romagna.
Ci ha accompagnato per l'occasione Barto (altro forumendolo, "indigeno" della Romagna).
Visto che il nostro ospite è abituato alle Alpi, ad uscite ultralunghe e dai dislivelli di un certo rilievo, mi sono spremuto le meningi ed ho tirato fuori un giro che toccasse le parti più belle ed i sentieri più interessanti del Monte Carpegna.
Non si possono contare il numero delle salite, forse 7, forse di più, il percorso è un continuo susseguirsi di saliscendi, tratti dalle pendenze elevate, discese veloci, parti su pietraia, il fondo spesso è argilloso, in pochi tratti asfaltato, spesso la presenza di pietre rende difficili tratti in salita ed impegnativi alcuni tratti in discesa.
I panorami sono mozzafiato: dall'antico Castello di Pietrarubbia al Sasso Simone, dai prati sommitali del Carpegna ai single-track nel bosco, le viste sulle vallate del Conca e del Marecchia si alternano.
Si consiglia di percorrerlo a chi è ben allenato, anche se i punti di uscita per un più veloce ritorno al punto di partenza sono diversi (dai paesi di Carpegna e di Villagrande si può comodamente tornare su asfaltata, in caso di mancanza di forze per proseguire).
Almeno tre quattro tratti non sono percorribili in caso di fondo bagnato, in tal caso si consiglia di evitare di intraprendere il giro.

P.P.S. a questo link trovate il video dell'escursione: Parcheggio del ristorante "Il Gabbiano" lungo la SP n° 2 (PU), circa a 4 km. dopo Montecerignone in direzione Carpegna.
Dal parcheggio del ristornate si scende verso valle lungo la strada provinciale, dopo 1/2 km. si svolta a destra lungo una brecciata in discesa, da lì seguire la traccia.

As our guest is accustomed to the Alps, outgoings ultralunghe and unevenness of some importance, I squeezed the meninges and I pulled out a tour that touched the most beautiful parts and the most interesting trails of Mount Carpegna.
You can not count the number of climbs, maybe 7, maybe more, the path is a continuous succession of ups and downs, taken from the high slopes, fast descents, parts of stony ground, the thick bottom is clay, in a few strokes asphalt, often the presence of stones makes it difficult uphill sections and some challenging downhill.
The views are stunning: the ancient Castle of Sasso Simone Pietrarubbia, from the meadows to the summit of Carpegna single -Track in the woods, the views over the valleys of the Basin and Marecchia alternate.
We recommend that you follow it to those who are well-trained, even if the exit points for a faster return to the starting point are different (from the countries Carpegna and Villagrande you can easily go back on the asphalt, in the case of lack of strength to continue).
At least three or four traits are not feasible in the case of wet, in which case it is advisable to avoid taking the ride.

From the parking lot of the restraunt you go down to the valley along the road, after 1.2 km. turn right along a brecciated downhill from there follow the trail.
