Partendo da Resiutta in corrispondenza del ponte si gira verso sinistra per la Frazione Povici di Sopra. Appena oltrepassato il ponte sul rio Resartico si gira a sinistra e si imbocca il sentiero (n. CAI 703/a). Prestare attenzione ad alcuni tratti tecnici su single track (diff. single trail S1/S2); fiancheggiando il torrente Resia immersi nel bosco si risale la vallata prima verso gli stavoli “Isu”, quindi verso località Tigo. Per evitare il guado si attraversa la bella passerella sul Torrente Resia (non seguire traccia). Si riprende a sinistra in direzione opposta e all'incrocio si prende a salire la strada che porta a S.Giorgio di Resia. Si prosegue fino a Prato di Resia dove ha inizio la salita (faticosa) verso sella Sagata. La salita è impegnativa visto la pendenza ed il fondo irregolare della sterrata. Arrivati al Passo si rientra in discesa lungo l'itinerario appena percorso. Deviazione verso Gniva e poi per strada asfaltata si raggiunge il punto di partenza.

Starting from Resiutta at the bridge turn left to the fraction Povici di Sopra. Just past the bridge over the Rio Resartico turn left and take the path (n. 703 CAI / a). Pay attention to some technical sections of single track (diff. Single trail S1 / S2); alongside the creek Resia immersed in the woods go up the valley towards the first stavoli "Isu", then resort to Tigo. To avoid the ford crossing the footbridge over the beautiful creek Resia (do not follow track). It takes a left at the intersection in the opposite direction and it starts to climb the road to St. George Resia. It continues to Prato Resia where begins the climb (hard) to saddle Sagata. The climb is challenging since the slope and the bottom of the uneven dirt road. Arrived at Step falls down along the route just route. Detour to Gniva and then paved road to reach the starting point.
