Dal parcheggio della cabinovia Klausberg a Cadipietra si percorre su asfalto la provinciale, in direzione Predoi. Girare a destra verso S.Pietro : da qui inizia la salita vera. Sono circa 9km con una pendenza media del 13% e punte del 16%. Percorsi 9 km, alla Malga Locher, inizia lo sterrato sempre ottimo tranne gli ultimi 500m prima di scollinare dove diventa accidentato ma comunque ciclabile. Prima di scollinare si incontra la Malga Samhutten dove è presente una fontana d'acqua che consente di fare rifornimento. Dopo aver scollinato inizia un tratto di saliscendi in quota con numerosi ruscelli e corsi d'acqua; si passa accanto alla Grossbach Alm e alla Bacher Alm per poi raggiungere, dopo una breve salita, la Waldner Alm dove volendo è possibile refocillarsi. Scendendo poi si passa vicino alla Moar Alm e al sucessivo bivio si sale a sinistra su uno strappo breve ma molto ripido. Un falsopiano che passa nei pressi di Kaserer Alm, Starkl Alm, Notdurfter Alm e Shuttal Alm (ormai diroccata). Da qui inizia un single track molto bello e lastricato che per alcuni brevissimi tratti non è ciclabile e ci porta con dei saliscendi alla carinissima Obere Tauren Alm, dove non ho potuto fare a meno di concedermi una meritata birretta. Da qui si percorre un single track con una ventina di tornanti, scalinato e lastricato che porta a S.Spirito l'ultimo piccolo borgo di malghe della Valle Aurina. Si ritorna al punto di partenza percorrendo la provinciale fino a Cadipietra tutta in discesa. Questa escursione e caratterizzata dalla una lunga salita iniziale piuttosto dura che sembra quasi non finire mai, poi il tratto in quota è facile e variegato perchè i panorami cambiano molto. Il tratto dopo la Shuttal Alm fino a valle è la chicca del percorso perchè inizia un single track molto divertente.

From the parking lot of the gondola Klausberg Steinhaus go along the main road on asphalt in the direction Predoi. Turn right onto St. Peter: Here begins the real climb. There are around 9km with an average gradient of 13% and peaks of 16%. Routes 9 km, the Hills Locher, the dirt road begins always great except the last 500m before scollinare where it gets rough but still path. Before you come to the top of the hill Malga Samhutten where there is a water fountain that allows you to refuel. After scollinato begins a stretch of ups and downs in proportion with numerous streams and rivers; we pass next to Grossbach Alm and Alm Bacher and reached after a short climb, the Waldner wanting Alm where you can refocillarsi. Going then passes close to Moar Alm and Toggle junction up to the left on a short but very steep. A slight slope that passes near Kasererová Alm, Alm Starkl, Notdurfter Shuttal Alm and Alm (now demolished). From here begins a very nice single track and paved for a few short stretches there is no path and door with the latch to the Alm cute Obere Tauren, where I could not help but give me a well-deserved beer. From here, a single track with a dozen turns, graded and paved leading to S.Spirito the last small village of huts in the mountain paradise. You return to the starting point along the main road until Steinhaus all downhill. This excursion is characterized by a long initial climb rather hard that it almost seems to never end, then the stretch is easy to share and varied because the views change much. The stretch after the Shuttal Alm to the valley is the gem of the route because it starts a lot of fun single track.
