Entusiasmante escursione sul Monte Vettore (2476 m.), la montagna più alta del Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini. La salita in notturna e lo spettacolo dell'alba in vetta, con il susseguirsi dei colori che la precedono, arricchisce di un esperienza indimenticabile. La prima discesa di questo giro è per i grandi Imbuti del Vettore, quello di Colleluce e di Casale, per il “mitico” sentiero CAI n° 131, che taglia tutto il fianco orientale della montagna fino alla Fonte del Pastore. Si ricorda che questo sentiero va fatto in condizioni climatiche perfette perchè è costantemente esposto e anche se facile non ammette distrazioni! Dalla Fonte del Pastore si risale, con pochi tratti pedalati, fino alla Sella del Monte Banditello, 280 metri di dislivello allietati dallo splendido panorama. Ora inizia la discesa più entusiasmante per noi di tutto il Gruppo, il sentiero CAI n° 132! Ci sono 850 metri di dislivello fino a Foce, tutti su single track, solo inizialmente esposto, con un continuo susseguirsi di curve e sponde, che trova il clou nel tratto finale del bosco, fino all'arrivo a Foce. Dopo aver fatto doveroso rifornimento di acqua ci si dirige, con asfalto e brecciata, ad Altino dove, chi ha bisogno, può trovare ristoro presso il locale Rifugio. Da qui ha inizio il tratto di G.A.S. che è in comune col Sentiero dei Mietitori. Sono gli ultimi 15 km di saliscendi, prevalentemente nel bosco, da percorrere per ritornare al posteggio situato poco prima di Forca di Presta, dove ha termine il giro.

There are 850 vertical meters up to Foce, all on single track, only initially shown with a continuous succession of curves and edges, which is the climax in the final stretch of the forest, until the arrival in Foce. After doing proper supply of water, we head with asphalt and brecciated, Altino, where those in need can find refreshment at the local Lodge. Here begins the stretch of G.A.S. that is in common with the Path of the Reapers. They are the last 15 km of ups and downs, mostly in the woods, to go to return to the car park located just before Forca di Presta, where he completed the ride.
