Il percorso, di circa 30 km, parte dall'ampio parcheggio ai piedi del Castello di Cison.
Atraversando la strada statale si raggiunge la pista ciclabile, le indicazioni non mancano per trovarla. Percorrendola (quasi tutta su sterrato e chiusa al traffico) si raggiunge l'indicazione per Tovena (a circa 6 km dalla partenza, distanza variabile a seconda delle deviazioni che si prendono percorrendo la ciclabile). Dal piccolo centro del paese si scende a destra e si imbocca la via alternativa per raggiungere il Passo Boldo.
La via è chiusa al traffico delle auto, ma nonostante ciò abbiamo incontrato 2 fuoristrada, quindi fare sempre attenzione.
Il sentiero (perchè di questo si tratta) presenta delle pendenze molto importanti, soprattutto per i primi 4 km, ma anche dopo non scherza...! Infatti, molte parti, sono cementate per facilitare la presa delle ruote di chi deve fare la manutenzione del bosco.
Il percorso è molto bello e sale piuttosto velocemente fino ad oltre 900 metri per poi ridiscendere fino ai 706 del Passo Boldo.
La breve deviazione verso nord era alla ricerca di una fontana un po' particolare che doveva esserci poco lontano dalla strada principale. Fontana non trovata...
Dopo una doverosa sosta alla locanda, abbiamo cominciato la spettacolare discesa lungo i 18 tornanti (di cui 5 in galleria) della strada asfaltata che ci ha riportato a Tovena e da lì abbiamo ripreso la pista ciclabile che ci ha riportato al parcheggio dove avevamo lasciaro la macchina. Il punto di partenza è l'ampio parcheggio utilizzato per salire al castello di Cison

Through the small road until you reach the bike path, the signs are not lacking to find it. Follow this road (almost all on dirt and closed to traffic) you will reach the sign for Tovena (about 6 km from the start, variable distance depending on the deviations that you take along the path). From the center of the small town and head to the right and take the alternative route to reach the Passo Boldo.
The street is closed to car traffic, but despite that we met 2 off-road, so pay attention.
path (because of what it is) has a slope very important, especially for the first 4 km, but even after ... no joke! In fact, many parts are cemented to facilitate the grip of the wheels of those who have to do the maintenance of the forest.
The location is very nice and rooms rather quickly to over 900 meters and then descending to the 706 of the Boldo Pass. < br> The short detour to the north was looking for a fountain a bit 'peculiar that there had to be a little away from the main road. Fountain not found ...
After a dutiful stay at the inn, we started the spectacular descent along the 18 hairpin bends (5 of which are in the gallery) of the paved road that took us back to Tovena and from there we took the cycle path brought us back to the parking lot where we had bequeathed the machine. The starting point is the large parking lot used to go up to the castle Cison
