Trail Description

Note:

It starts from Via Senatore Giovanni Agnelli, 33 - Regional Park La Mandria, the Municipality of Robassomero, the district of Fiano (Grange Fiano) and you arrive at the Park of the Ponte del Diavolo, the Municipality of Lanzo, climbing on the bridge of the same name (built in 1300).

The GPX track follows the path described in the site mtbpiemonte.en by the legendary Massimo Peverada. Only difference is the starting point that is not the pub mentioned in Grange Fiano but the way Sen. Giovanni Agnelli. The route is slightly shorter. Once in the forest you can also follow the descriptions on the site.

Notes:

The Way Sen .G. Lambs ends at a large gate. You must take the dirt road on the right that goes down to the wood with some hairpin bends, and then alongside the boundary wall of La Mandria. From here the GPX route coincides with what is described on the site mtbpiemonte.it to which I refer you for the rest.

And' possible to park on the wide stretch grassy corresponding to the number 33, or a few kilometers later. Always walking down the street you can find a factory on the right, the Wagon Automotive, with a large and free parking in front of entrance.

The dirt roads (about 70% of the course) are very stony. Even if the journey is easy, as the slope and slope is, however, required a certain ability to control the front because a distraction can easily be nail the bike and falling over.

The path provides a small ford of the stream Ceronda. Usually there is a lot of water and you pass without even a sketch. However, it is warned that it may be impassable at certain times of the year, those corresponding to the rainfall considerable.

For the return, you can choose whether to repeat the track back or take the SP1 Lanzo - Venaria Reale (close to the bridge of the devil, and there are bulletin boards and signs indication everywhere). With the latter, you will surely have before (asphalt and almost all flat), but is certainly not devoid of traffic and hazards.

I recommend returning along the same route because it is very funny: most of the track is slightly downhill and with a bottom that allows you to push really hard on the pedals.
