I Tre Valloni del Gran Sasso sono attraversati da un divertente ed a tratti non semplice sentiero che dal piazzale di Campo Imperatore precipita per più di mille metri alla base della funivia di Fonte Cerreto. Da quest'ultima località si parte e si percorre la strada per Campo Imperatore, anche se asfaltata pur sempre panoramica, sino al bivio per la Fossa di Paganica. Attraversiamo la vallata erbosa sita tra la Costa Ceraso ed il Monte San Gregorio di Paganica per sbucare sulla Piana di Pietranzoni. Si prosegue su bitume guardando in faccia il Corno Grande e superato il bivio per il Vado di Corno inizia l'ultimo e più monotono tratto di salita al piazzale dell'osservatorio. La discesa per i Ter Valloni costituisce la giusta ricompensa. Il primo tratto presenta alcuni punti esposti dove occorre fare molta attenzione. il secondo tratto, ossia quello dopo lo scheletro della vecchia funivia, invece si mostra ripido nella prima metà, più dolce e flow nella seconda. Gran bella discesa.

Three Walloons of the Gran Sasso are traversed by an entertaining and at times not an easy path from the square of Campo Imperatore rushes for more than a thousand meters at the base of the cable car to Fonte Cerreto. From the latter place it aside and go along the road to Campo Imperatore, though still paved scenic, until the exit to the pit Paganica. We cross the grassy valley situated between the Costa Ceraso and Mount San Gregorio Paganica to come out on the Plains of Pietranzoni. Continue on bitumen looking into the face of Corno Grande and past the junction for Vado di Corno begins the last and most monotonous stretch of the climb to the square of the observatory. The descent to the Ter Walloons is the just reward. The first section presents some exposed spots where you need to be very careful. The second section, namely that after the skeleton of the old cable car, instead it shows steep in the first half, sweeter and flow in the second. Large beautiful descent.
