Percorso che parte da Varzi, si inizia subito a salire in sterrato lungo strade bianche o vecchi sentieri della via del sale. Il fondo nella prima parte è un po' sconnesso e ci sono punti abbastanza ripidi e tecnici a causa del fondo sconnesso. Arrivati a Pietragavina si sale verso il Passo facendo un breve tratto di asfalto. Finito questo riinizia subito a salire con tratti molto ripidi ma buon fondo. La pendenza poi molla un po'. In cima si può scendere lungo un single track o proseguendo sullo sterrato principale (a sinistra).
Dopo questo breve tratto si raggiunge la strada asfaltata che porta in cima al passo; da li si scende verso Bobbio e al primo tornante si prende a destra lo sterrato che gira tutto intorno al monte. La discesa nel tracciato è quella in asfalto perchè causa caduta non sono riuscito a proseguire nello sterrato ma appena lo rifarò caricherò il giro completo. Partenza da Varzi. Facilmente raggiungibile dalla statale che risale fino al Penice
