Giro veramente interessante, sia per il panorama che si ha nella prima parte che per la discesa di notevole spessore tecnico.
La partenza è dall'abitato, si risale la valle e subito fuori del paese, prendiamo il bivio per Berghe, la salita all'8-9%, è asfaltata nella sua prima parte, poi diventa sterrata, sempre con fondo eccellente.
Arrivati a una quota di poco superiore ai 1400 slm, nei pressi di una cascina, la strada ha un bivio, andiamo a sinistra in leggera discesa e dopo circa 500 metri, vediamo un sentiero ben segnato con una palina in legno che indica Fontan.
Da qui la discesa è riservata agli appassionati, per me appassionato di tornanti, è stata una festa, tutta la discesa che riporta al paese, è impegnativa.
Unico neo, il fondo roccioso e ricco di radici, in caso di pioggia, fa schizzare la difficoltà a livelli per me eccessivi, per cui consiglio di farla su asciutto.
Qualche sentiero da quando ho preso la mtb la prima volta, l'ho fatto (era il 1990), questo percorso riservato a coloro che hanno una buona guida su tecnico, è sicuramente nella top ten delle cose che ho fatto. risalendo la Valle Roya da XXMiglia, o scendendo dal Colle di Tenda verso la costa.

Giro really interesting, both for the view, which has the first part of the descent for a remarkable technician.
The departure is from the town, go up the valley and just outside of the village, take the fork for Berghe, the climb to 8-9%, it is paved in its first part, then it becomes dirt, always with excellent background.
Arriving at an altitude of just over 1400 m asl, near a farm, the road has a junction, go to the left and slightly downhill after about 500 meters, we see a well marked path with a wooden signpost that indicates Fontan.
From here the descent is reserved for lovers, for me fond of twists and turns, it was a celebration, all the descent back to the country, is challenging.
only drawback, of the rocky and full of roots, in the event of rain, the difficulty makes splash at excessive levels for me, so I suggest to do it on dry.
Some path since I got the bike the first time I did it (it was 1990), this path reserved for those who have a good guide on technical, it's definitely in the top ten list of things I've done. going up the Roya Valley from XXMiglia, or coming down from the Colle di Tenda towards the coast.
