Splendido itinerario tra le verdi colline a cavallo tra Cusio e Valsesia, uno dei più completi in zona.
Da Omegna seguire le indicazioni per Ponte Bria e raggiungere i laghetti di Nonio con qualche tratto a spinta per il fondo del sentiero invaso di pietre e detriti (sentiero in fase di sistemazione). In alternativa i laghetti si possono raggiungere più comodamente su asfalto seguendo la SP del lago sino a Nonio, poi indicazioni in loco.
Dai laghetti dura risalita verso l'alpe Sacchi per una sterrata dal fondo variabile che in un alternarsi di rampe e tratti più rilassanti entra a quota 1000 ca in uno splendido faggeto. A spinta per qualche minuto sino al bv per Alpe Soliva dove un cartello indica a dx per Alpe Sacchi. Ancora a spinta per qualche minuto sino a sbucare sui pascoli dell'alpeggio dove si incontra la strada sterrata che arriva da Morondo/Trevigno: proseguire a destra sino al suo termine nei pressi di una formazione rocciosa. Scavalcarla bici al fianco/spalla sino a trovare un'altra sterrata che sale leggermente sino al colle del Ranghetto: qui si prende la forestale di recente costruzione (attenzione a prendere a sx al primo bivio, non segnalato..) che sotto le pendici del Monte Croce raggiunge la Bocchetta di Foglia.
Proseguire sulla larga sterrata (volendo si potrebbe fare una digressione salendo al Monte Mazzoccone, splendido panorama) si raggiunge in breve l'Alpe Camasca (cappelletta, acqua..). Qui seguire i cartelli segnaletici gialli MTB per raggiungere con una facile discesa Quarna Sopra, attraversare le vie del paese e con una breve risalita verso l'Hotel Panoramica seguire le indicazioni per Fontegno: inizia qui una splendida discesa verticale a picco sul lago che presenta qualche difficoltà (tornantini, lastricato) sino a raggiungere la splendida chiesetta del Fontegno. Si prosegue sulla mulattiera prestando la dovuta attenzione sino a sbucare alle porte di Cireggio, dove su asfalto si ritorna ad Omegna...

Wonderful itinerary among the green hills on the border between Cusio and Valsesia, one of the most comprehensive in the area.
From Omegna follow the signs to Ponte Bria and reach the lakes of Nonius with some stretch to push to the bottom of the path flooded with stones and debris (path in phase arrangement). Alternatively, the lakes you can reach more easily on asphalt following the SP of the lake until Nonius, then signs on site.
From the lakes hard climb to Alpe bags dirt from the bottom of a variable in a succession of ramps and Whether the most relaxing enters the 1000 ca in a beautiful beech forest. A push for a few minutes until bv Alpe Soliva where a sign indicates a right to Alpe Sacchi. Still pushing for a few minutes until you come out on the pastures dell'alpeggio where it meets the dirt road that comes from Morondo / Trevigno: go to the right until it ends near a rock formation. Bike jump over the side / shoulder until you find another dirt road that climbs slightly up the hill to the Ranghetto: this is where the forest recently built (be careful to take a left at the first fork, not reported ..) that under the slopes of Monte Croce reaches the nozzle Leaf.
Continue along the wide dirt road (if you want you could make a digression going up to Monte Mazzoccone, splendid panorama) you will soon reach the Alpe Camasca (chapel, water ..). Here follow the signs to reach the yellow MTB with an easy descent Quarna Above, through the streets of the country and with a short climb to the Hotel Panoramic follow the signs to Fontegno: Starts Here a beautiful vertical descent overlooking the lake that has some difficulty (hairpins, paved) until you reach the magnificent church of Fontegno.
