La partenza avviene dall'ampio parcheggio posto tra le scuole e il municipio di Prepotto.
Si inizia a pedalare lungo la strada Podresca che risale la Val Judrio sul versante italiano. Si sale a Varch sullo sterrato che si intraprende subito dopo la frazione di Bordon, per poi continuare su asfalto nell'anfiteatro di Drenchia fino al Passo Solarie. Da qui (con un dislivello di 150m) merita effettuare un piccolo giro ad anello “sull'alta via” del Colovrat dove potremo ammirare dapprima vasti panorami sulla pianura e sul mare dal versante italiano e poi sui monti e sulla valle del fiume Isonzo sul versante sloveno.
Ritornati al Solarie si intraprende un divertente singletrack nel bosco che ci porta a Clabuzzaro per poi scendere nuovamente nella valle del Judrio sul sentiero naturalistico omonimo. Giunti al valico di Molino Vecchio si entra in terra slovena e si effettua la strada di ritorno sullo sterrato che corre sul lato opposto del fiume. Lo sterrato termina a Golo Brdo da dove si raggiunge Prepotto sulla regionale asfaltata.
A parte il singletrack di media difficoltà per Clabuzzaro, ed alcuni tratti sul sentiero naturalistico che riporta nella val Judrio, l'itinerario non presenta difficoltà tecniche,mentre l'impegno fisico si rivela piuttosto impegnativo se non altro per i suoi 65Km di lungezza.
Departure is from the large parking place between the schools and the town hall of Prepotto.
Start cycling along the road that goes up the Val Podresca Judrio on the Italian side. It rises to Varch the dirt that is undertaken immediately after the village of Bordon, then continue on asphalt in the amphitheater of Drenchia to Step Solarie. From here (with a vertical drop of 150m) worth making a small round ring "on the high street" where we can admire the Colovrat first extensive views of the plains and the sea from the Italian side and then on the mountains and the valley of the river Isonzo on the side Slovene.
Returning to Solarie you embark on a fun singletrack in the woods that leads us to Clabuzzaro then descend again into the valley of the same name Judrio on the nature trail. Once at the crossing of Molino Vecchio you enter in Slovenia and you make your way back to the dirt road that runs along the opposite side of the river. The dirt road ends in Golo Brdo where you can reach Prepotto on the regional road.
Apart from the singletrack of medium difficulty for Clabuzzaro, and some stretches on the nature trail that shows the val Judrio, the route presents no technical difficulties, while the 'physical engagement proves to be quite challenging if nothing else for his 65Km of calf.
