Ore 7:30, Cella di Noceto (PR), il cielo promette pioggia, ma tutte le previsioni meteo sono dalla nostra, nel dubbio si parte! Lasciata l'auto nel parcheggio vicino alla Chiesa di Cella, seguiamo il primo cartello della via Francigena in direzione Medesano, dopo neppure 400 metri dalla partenza e dopo avere guadato il Recchio, attacchiamo la prima salita, che con tratti che superano il 20% si fa subito sentire sui muscoli freddi, finita la prima salita giù in una ripidissima picchiata pronti per affrontare subito la seconda e ancora più dura salita. L'avevo già fatta una quindicina di anni fa e mi ero ripromesso di non farla mai più... ora ricordo il perchè! In 1,5 km guadagnamo 200 metri di quota e il fondo sul finale si fa un po' smosso, ma sappiamo che fatta questa, il più è fatto e troviamo le energie per scollinare. Arrivati sull'asfalto che porta a Miano approfiattiamo del tratto pianeggiante per riprendere fiato e abbandoniamo la Francigena per girare a destra verso Monte Genesio, tenendo le indicazioni per l'omonimo Bad & Brekfast.
Una comoda strada giaiata ci accompagna fino al bivio sterrato che porta in direzione Santa Lucia.
Dopo un breve tratto in asfalto puntiamo verso Monte Inverno, per divertirci un po' tra i saliscendi che percorrono la circonferenza della cima e poi puntare giù per la strada che tra i calanchi punta verso la Rocca di Roccalanzona e alla Marialonga.
Finita la discesa affrontiamo l'unico tratto non pedalabile del giro, circa 700 metri con fondo estremamente sconnesso e di una pendenza "feroce". Non me la sentirei di affrontarlo neppure in discesa, percui sono contento di aver deciso di compiere il giro in senso orario. Finalmente si risale in sella e dopo esserci gustati il panorama per un paio di km "pianeggianti" scendiamo a destra per un sentiero non troppo battuto, ma abbastanza divertente (riguardando il giro scaricato dal gps mi sono accorto che non era il tratto che pensavamo di affrontare, ma nello sbagliare abbiamo trovato una bella discesa alternativa) che ci riporta in prossimità di Varano Marchesi. Circa 1,5 km prima di arrivare a Varano giriamo a sinistra in direzione Case Mezzadri dove una stupenda e dura salita di circa 2 km ci porta dietro alla trattoria La Bruschetta di Case Mezzadri. Da li iniziamo il tratto classico che porta in direzione Costamezzana.
Giunti sull'asfalto incrociamo nuovamente una segnalazione della via Francigena che indica verso destra la discesa che porta a Cella e la fine del giro, scendiamo a tutta proprio mentre inzia a piovere, arrivando alle auto con un tempismo perfetto, il meteo ha clamorosamente cannato, ma questa volta c'e andata bene.

Arrived on the asphalt leading to Miano approfiattiamo the flat stretch to catch his breath and abandon the Francigena to turn right towards Monte Genesio, holding signs for the eponymous Bad & brekfast. Giaiata On A comfortable road takes us to the crossroads dirt road that leads in the direction of Saint Lucia.
After a short stretch of asphalt in Monte aim to Winter, to have some fun 'between the ups and downs that run the circumference of the top and then head down the road between the gullies pointing towards the Rock of Roccalanzona and Marialonga.
After the descent we face is not the only part of the pedaled around, about 700 meters with the bottom of a slope extremely bumpy and "ferocious." I do not even deal with the feel of down, so it'm glad I decided to take the turn clockwise. Finally back in the saddle and after we enjoyed the view for a couple of km "flat" go down to the right for a not too beaten path, but quite funny (covering the lap downloaded from the GPS, I realized that was not the stretch that we thought deal with, but in the wrong we have found a nice downhill alternative) that brings us near Varano Marchesi. About 1.5 km before arriving at Varano turn left towards Case Mezzadri where a beautiful and tough climb of about 2 km brings us back to the restaurant La Bruschetta Case Sharecroppers. From there we begin the classic trait that leads towards Costamezzana.
Once again we cross the asphalt a message via Francigena pointing to the right that leads down to the cell and the end of the tour, just as we descend to the whole begins to rain , reaching the car with perfect timing, the weather has blatantly screwed up, but this time there went well.
