L'itinerario inizia dal paese di Premana imboccando la strada agro-silvo-pastorale della Val Fraina che inizia in fondo al paese (est). La sterrata si percorre su pendenze sempre pedalabili e su fondo ottimo. Passando per la frazione di Rasiga si arriva in circa un'ora all'alpe Fraina.Da qui attraversando il torrente e passando sul lato destro orografico della valle si imbocca un sentiero che in lieve discesa e quasi sempre pedalabile attraversa la frazione di Caprecolo e Piazzo da dove si continua a salire seguendo le indicazione per l'Alpe Premaniga. Giunti a Faèe la traccia caricata segue un sentiero diretto per Premaniga lungo il quale e' necessario spallare la bici per circa venti minuti; ignorando questo sentiero e tenendo la dx appena fuori dal gruppo di case ci si riporta sulla mulattiera che con pendenze dure ma pedalabili raggiunge Premaniga. Da qui parte il lungo sentiero in mezzacosta che passando per Solino porta all'alpe Deleguaccio. Questo tratto presenta numerosi tratti lungo i quali è necessario spingere o spallare la bici. Arrivati all'alpe Deleguaccio siamo pronti ad imboccare il sentiero in discesa che riporta a Premana. La discesa è decisamente tecnica, caratterizzata da numerosi blocchi di pietra che formano dei gradoni su forti pendenze (da evitare se bagnata!) e con difficoltà continue senza lasciare mai troppo tempo per rifiatare. Solo le ultime centinaia di metri prima di arrivare in paese diventano più facili e scorrevoli: utili per rilassarsi un pò (poco!) prima di raggiungere la macchina.
Il percorso è di stampo escursionistico e presenta diversi tratti dove è necessario spingere o spallare la bici (in totale più di un'ora). Personalmente ho trovato la discesa oltre che tecnicamente impegnativa anche stancante dal punto di vista fisico. Per chi volesse una alternativa più ciclabile senza la discesa da Deleguaccio è possibile una volta arrivati alle frazioni di Piazzo o Faèe non risalire verso l'alpe Premaniga ma ridiscendere verso Premana.
Da Lecco seguire la strada per la Valsassina, oppure procedere sulla superstrada fino a Dervio quindi seguire per Premana.

The route starts from the village of Premana taking the road agro-forestry-pastoral Val Fraina that starts in the bottom of the country (east). From here the path along the hillside that leads through Solinus Alpe Deleguaccio. This section presents several stretches along which you need to push or spallare the bike. Arrived Alpe Deleguaccio we are ready to take the downhill path that leads back to Premana. The descent is quite technical, characterized by numerous stone blocks that form terraces on steep slopes (to be avoided if wet!) And with ongoing difficulties without ever leaving too much time to catch his breath. Only the last few hundred meters before arriving in the country become easier and Sliding useful to relax a little (little!) Before reaching the car.
The hiking trail is mold and has several sections where it is need to push the bike or spallare (in total more than an hour). Personally I found the descent as well as technically challenging even tiring from the physical point of view. For those who want an alternative path without the descent from Deleguaccio is possible once you get to fractions of Piazzo or FAEE not climb towards Alpe Premaniga but down towards Premana.
From Lecco follow the road to the Valsassina or carry on highway to Dervio then follow Premana.
