Trail Description

This route partly follows the one described by pippixe that thank you very much.
It is a wholly pedaled around and sliding that allows both to work out which to enjoy technical trails and fun as the Pistino and the Grove.
We recommend to bring along a good supply of water and do not address the route at times too hot, because, with the exception of the Grove Pistino and there is no shelter from the sun.
The ideal way to get to the start of 'route is to use the train, as it leaves the station of Santa Marinella and ends at the station of Santa Severa.
Anyone wishing to arrive by car can park at an intermediate point.
Behind the station takes an uphill road, partly paved and partly gravel but still very smooth.
At 5 Km you enter a wooden gate on the left, crossing the pasture always following the main dirt roads, to reach on our right, at Km 14, after about 1h and 30min, the Pistino.
Along the Pistino you meet a white dirt that crosses and follow it to the right brings us back on top.
From here, at the junction, turn right on asphalt up to 23,800 Km, where you turn right onto the dirt road.
At Km 26, turn left crossing the pastures.
From here you start to descend toward the grove.
Once finished we go beyond two wooden gates and turning to the right, slightly downhill you arrive in a few kilometers to a parking lot on the main road that leads down to the Aurelia.
Turn left in 2.5 km to reach the station of Santa Severa.
You can take the train down to Rome Termini to Civitavecchia Santa Marinella or take the highway A12 and exit at Santa Severa / Santa Marinella.
