Partenza da Paperino, tangenziale e via Montalese fino a Montemurlo, alle scuole blu girare a dx e cominciare a salire su asfalto fino all'imbocco della strada per la fattoria di javello. Primo km più duro poi pendenza regolare fino allo spiazzo che precede la fattoria (5km circa). Si scende dall'altra strada bianca che arriva allo spiazzo e al bivio si prosegue a dx per Montemurlo/Bagnolo sulla strada che risale leggermente (indicazioni CAI). Dopo poco la strada è chiusa da una sbarra ma scavalcando si prosegue tranquillamente. Seguire le indicazioni del CAI uscendo dalla strada bianca e prendendo il sentiero a sx; dopo poche centinaia di metri prendere la diramazione a sx sempre segnata dal CAI: non si vede benissimo, se il sentiero risale avete sbagliato, tornate indietro e ritrovate la diramazione. Attenzione perché la discesa è impegnativa, il sentiero è irregolare perché spesso percorso e scavato da rivoli d'acqua. Dopo 5/6 km di discesa si imbocca la strada asfaltata e andando a dx si finisce alla rocca di Montemurlo, discesa a Bagnolo su asfalto e rientro a Paperino.
