Giro breve ma piacevole con partenza da Cortino. Si sale in direzione di Piano Roseto passando sotto le Coste della Croce. Giunti all’incrocio con la strada che scende a Casagreca, si fa il pieno d’acqua presso la fonte presente sulla sx. Proseguiamo in direzione Altovia, attraversiamo il Prato di Pantanelle e in discesa velocemente arriviamo sotto le Coste Laretta. Ci lasciamo Altovia in alto a dx e iniziamo a salire per la strada che nel frattempo da asfaltata diviene brecciata. Al bivio per Valle Vaccaro-Aprati svoltiamo a dx e continuiamo nell’ascesa fino ad una vecchia fonte in pietra. Poco più avanti troviamo la segnalazione C.A.I. e giriamo a dx per il sentiero che entra nel bosco. Ci troviamo sulla traccia n. 344 e la seguiamo passando dal Colle della Palomba e dalla Forchetta. Dopo qualche breve e tecnico single track, intervallato da piccole risalite, attraversiamo il Bosco Favale ed usciamo sui Prati di Lame. Ci manteniamo sulla dx e rientriamo nel bosco. Adesso si percorre il 345 C.A.I, una traccia molto piacevole che scende, a tratti tecnici, nel magnifico bosco di Fonte Spugna. E un sentiero che si snoda tra un’oscura selva dove è facile incrociare diverse specie animali. Nello stesso tempo conviene restare concentrati sul percorso che in diversi punti può essere abbastanza insidioso. Ci si ritrova su un bel pianoro erboso da dove si scende agevolmente verso la S.P., la si attraversa e, dopo una velocissima discesa che culmina alla chiesa di Cortino, terminiamo il nostro giro.

Giro short but pleasant departure from Cortino. It rises in the direction of Piano Roseto passing under the Coasts of the Cross. At the junction with the road that goes down to Casagreca, becomes full of water at the source present on the left. We continue in the direction Altovia, cross the meadow and Pantanelle downhill quickly come under Coste Laretta. We leave Altovia in the top right and start to climb to the road in the meantime by the asphalt becomes brecciated. At the junction for Valle Vaccaro-Aprati turn right and continue the ascent up to an old stone fountain. A little further on we find the signal C.A.I. and turn right on the trail leading into the woods. We are on track n. 344 and follow it through from the Colle della Palomba and Fork. After a brief and technical single track, interspersed with small ascents, cross the Bosco Favale and we go out on the meadows Lame. We keep ourselves on the right and re-enter the woods. Now he travels the 345 CAI, a very nice track that down, sometimes technical, in the magnificent woods of Fonte Sponge. It is a path that winds through a dark forest where it is easy to breed different species of animals. At the same time should remain focused on the path at different points can be quite insidious. We find ourselves on a nice grassy plateau from where you descend easily to the SP, cross it, and after a rapid descent that culminates at the church of Cortino, we finish our tour.
